Maddie & Kerry tied the knot on April 11th in NWA. It was our first wedding to shoot in NWA and we LOVED the venue! One of our favorite barns ever and one of our favorite couples! The ceremony and reception was held at the Cypress Barn in Siloam Springs. Lighting was amazing, weather was amazing and they looked fabulous! Also another first for us – Kerry was our first Marine groom! (Our favorite grooms cake EVER is also featured in this blog post) We loved getting to work with this blonde bombshell and her handsome groom. You two are the sweetest and we hope to photograph some Bartholomew babies one day!
ps: This is a great example of the benefits of doing a first look! They have SO many great portraits of just the two of them because we had extra time because they did a first look. Not required but a definite plus!
Lots of love!

Anna Rogers has done it again! She wanted some sweet images of a bouquet she created for a wedding and we were happy to do some natural light shots of this beautiful floral collection. From the bouquet to the boutonnieres – we loved it all! I could shoot florals all day everyday! Anna, you are so impressive!

Sometimes we get to work with other vendors and just play! This is one of the best things about our job – working with other vendors! We loved getting to do a shoot for Events Rental and Floral in Conway. The owner, Jennifer, is the sweetest! And the head floral designer, Anna, is AMAZING! This duo and their team were so fun and we all used our collective creative visions to capture these images! In this blog post we showcase some of their rental items and some of their fabulous florals! We love working with them and so excited that three of our May brides are using them! We can’t wait to work with them more!

We have been a little behind on blogging from all of the shoots and weddings we have been doing lately (which is good), so I am just now blogging this fabulous session! We has been wanting to shoot at this location we found while hiking but needed a couple who would be up for a little walk! We knew this couple was the one!It took us 25 minutes to get there and 25 minutes to get back but it was so worth it! Sara and Tanner were fabulous to work with and so easy to photograph! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding this September! For now, enjoy these shots that showcase one of our favorite places in Arkansas.

We really love so many things about this wedding and we are so excited to finally share it! Emily and Jordan tied the knot last month at the beginning of April. We had a BLAST at this wedding! Emily was my sorority sister and friend way before they became our clients, but she went out of her way to make sure Jaison and I were doing alright and having fun the entire night! (Which she did not have to do AT ALL, but we so dearly appreciate her kindness.) This wedding was held in Howell, Arkansas at The Barn at Cypress Meadows Plantation. It was our first time to work a wedding there but it did not disappoint! The inside of the barn was gorgeous! The photos we got to capture at sunset are my favorite part of this blog post, the lighting was beautiful and their sweet dog got in on a few pictures too! Check out Jordan’s ring too, it is so unique and made for some sweet ring shots!
We hope you enjoy!
xoxo,

Today was Renee’s wedding to Justin, which means I can share her sweet bridals! This is the first time I have used oversized balloons for bridals but I love the way they pop against the greenery! They’re just fun! She looked so stunningly gorgeous! Loved photographing their wedding today and can’t wait to share their wedding photos! For now, enjoy her precious session!

Some of my favorite photographs that we have ever done are hitting the blog RIGHT NOW! Back in January I decided I wanted Kim to be our next bride use in some of our advertising, who could blame me right?! She is naturally beautiful, blonde and best of all….kind. I knew we had her bridal shoot coming up in April and I wanted it to be perfect! So I had a vision for a full, lavish, overflowing bouquet and a floral crown to match. I searched on Pinterest (of course) and then sent my ideas to an amazing floral designer out of Conway – Jessica Zimmerman. We bounced ideas off of one another and she created this beautiful citrus inspired bouquet. I searched around town for some vintage suitcases and everything started to come together. And then….the forecast came. It was a huge chance of rain on the Sunday I planned for and I began to freak out. Especially since Jaison and I were leaving for the beach the next day and rescheduling would have been crazy, but I would’ve skipped the beachin a heartbeat to reschedule these! I was looking forward to them and so excited to see it all come together. With some serious prayer, the forecast began to change and the sun was shining brightly the day we did her shoot. Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was perfect. A huge THANK YOU to Kim for letting me run with my idea and trusting your photographers. That is the biggest compliment you could have paid us, is to just trust us. I hope you love these images as much as I do, because girl I am obsessed! Love you and so thankful to have you as a client, a friend, and as an AST sister!
p.s. – Jessica gave me a few extra pretty pink roses to play with and I got crafty at the end, as you can see I am no floral designer but I love fresh blooms! 😉

We couldn’t be happier to share these city engagement photos! These images are some of my favorites we have taken lately. I love the way that fuchsia dress pops with the greenery in the background – GORGEOUS! And Katelyn’s long flowing hair is amazing! These two compliment each other so well. They have a masquerade mask because they are doing a masquerade theme for their October 31st wedding! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
So, we started off on the Junction Bridge and is was super windy, but it actually made for a nice natural blow with Katelyn’s hair. Then we made our way around Little Rock.
These two will tie the knot at the same place Jaison and I did almost two years ago, The Marriott in Little Rock (formerly The Peabody). You can see it in a few shots actually! We had so much fun with you two!
Can’t wait for October!

This couple is SO fun! I can’t even tell you how much fun they are to be around. They’re genuine, sweet and hilarious ANDDDD…. they love Disney! Jaison and I are huge Disney fans ourselves and we have been five times together since 2010. Jaison has been over 20 times hahaha! God knew what he was doing when he sent these clients our way, because they are a perfect match for us as photographers! These two will tie the knot this May at Enchanted Evening! We can’t wait to spend the day with you two next month! I had a blast taking your engagements!

Allie & Richard tied the knot in March at a church in North Little Rock, this particular church was only 3 minutes from our house! It was amazing to hop in the car and be there in less than 5 minutes! Best drive ever, haha!
We wrapped up their night at the train station (Next Level Events) in Little Rock! This wedding was such a smooth day. This couple is so easy to work with and we just did our thing!
We captured so much of their wedding story from engagements, bridals and wedding day! We loved every minute of it! Congrats you two!

Aimee and Bennett tied the knot last month and the day was so special! It is always fun when we are friends with the couple and get to play such a big role in their big day! I remember meeting Aimee when she was a freshman at UCA and I was the yearbook editor. I got to know her even better when we were on SOS together. She is such a blessing to be around. These two were married in Hot Springs and had their reception at The Regency! It was such a sweet intimate ceremony! We are happy to share it on the blog today! We wish you both much happiness!
xoxo,

I am finally catching up on blogging after an amazing week at the beach! A much needed pre-busy season vacation. Now we are in full work mode and ready to shoot some amazing weddings this year! With seven under our belt for 2015 already, I know this year is going to fly by!
It already feels like we took these ages ago, although it wasn’t really that long ago! We love this simple beautiful country spot in Maumelle for bridals. I actually took my bridals at this exact spot and loved it so much I wanted to come back! Allie and her beautiful dress couldn’t have complimented the location better! We LOVED hanging out with her and mom, even though it was FREEZING! We were all pretty chilly but Allie looks so natural and gorgeous you can’t even tell she was cold. A few weeks later we shot her wedding to Richard and it will be coming to the blog soon!
For now, enjoy this sweet bride and her bridals!

Today is Nicki and Jordan’s one year anniversary! I have been patiently waiting to post these on their anniversary because I somehow let them slip through the cracks and never posted last spring (and realized it this winter & didn’t want to post them randomly)! They were too beautiful not to ever share! I hope Nicki and Jordan have the BEST day today! Happy anniversary you two! xoxo
