Cody + Ashliegh | Engagements

Wow!

That is all I have to say about this session is, WOW! We first photographed Ashliegh and Cody when Cody proposed in Conway and I was blown away with that session, then came this one. They were SO easy to work with and so comfortable & it shows! I also love when our clients become friends. Since this shoot we had a little double date and then Cody was our model for Jaison’s clown/Halloween shoot (it was not as pretty as these haha) but Cody did an awesome job! It always is so flattering when other photographers ask us to take their photos. Ashliegh is a photographer herself. We were blown away when she asked us to do their wedding photography! We hope you enjoy this engagement session as much as we do, Jaison and I are obsessed!

The Glovers | Arkansas Family

I met Carrie through her sister Amy, who is a good friend of mine. Amy’s little girl, Abi, was our flower girl in our wedding! This was the third time we got to photograph Will and each session I swear he gets cuter and cuter. This year, he has grown so much!! We loved that he was sporting his cowboy Halloween costume, he looked like a little man! Will’s favorite part of the session was when Jaison and his dad Jason threw leaves around him. Those made for some of the sweetest photos ever. Enjoy!

ps: AND I got to use our chevron chair prop which was exciting to have someone just the right size to fit in it!

Casey, Crystal & Emma | Family Session

Crystal, Casey and Emma are AMAZING! It was so hard to choose my favorites for their blog post because they looked so happy in all of them! Crystal was my “big sis” on dance team in high school (in our North Pulaski Falcon days). I am so thankful that dance team brought us together and I am lucky to call her my friend. I hadn’t seen her in a couple of years but it was like picking up right where we left off. Those are the best types of friendships! Meeting Emma was awesome too, isn’t she adorable?! I love the lighting during this session, it was right before sunset by the river.

Caleb + Kelsey | Central Arkansas Couple

I have known both Kelsey and Caleb 10 years! It seems like we have been friends forever though! We went on church trips together and cheered on the North Pulaski Falcons together in high school. Kelsey switched to North Little Rock High School first and I soon followed my eleventh grade year. Kelsey has been one of my best friends ever since. I was heartbroken when she and I went to separate colleges, but I am thankful that we have stayed in touch and that she was able to stand beside me on my wedding day in 2013. I have never seen Kelsey happier than she is with Caleb. Kels and I have spent many hours laughing and crying together and I am happy to know that Caleb is now her best friend. I couldn’t have picked a better guy for her. Naturally, when Kelsey asked me to take her pictures I could not have been happier. She has an uncle who is awesome photographer and I couldn’t believe she asked me! I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed taking them. This girl means the world to me & Caleb, you aren’t so bad! 😉 Lots of love for these two!

Anna Belle

We are a little behind on blogging but this girl is too sweet not to blog her session! This was my second time to photograph Anna Belle and each time has been amazing! Richard + Allie | Engagements

Allie and I went to high school at North Little Rock & we also went to UCA together! I met with her and her mom a few months back about doing her & Richard’s wedding and I was pumped! And I got to find out her mom is a fellow Alpha Tau! They chose Two River’s Park for their engagements & as always this location NEVER disappoints! We loved their laid back personalities and sweet spirits! Although pictures aren’t Richard’s favorite thing to do, he did AWESOME!! 😉 We can not wait to shoot her bridals and their wedding day! Jacob & Rebecca | Engagement

Rebecca has been my good friend since freshman year when we pledged Alpha Tau together. She has always been one of my sweetest dearest friends from college. Jacob and her have been together a long time and I often ask her when is Jacob going to propose?!? When he did my heart was so happy for the both of them! When she e-mailed me about shooting her wedding I was SO SO EXCITED! I can’t believe how perfect these engagements turned out. We have shot one other engagement session here and Rebecca loved the location so we made a short trip to Little Rock.

Destiny & Bryson

Destiny and Bryson are the cutest! For those of you who didn’t know, Destiny is also SUPERMOM! She is married but her husband, Buck, is deployed with the military. While Buck has been away Destiny has not only been playing mom + dad but she is also in college! I admire her drive and her never-ending love for her family. These photos also have a little piece of Buck in them, Bryson’s “daddy-doll”. This is a doll that the military gave their family to help Bryson cope with his dad being gone. A sweet photo of Buck is tucked away in a pocket on the doll. If this session doesn’t melt your heart I don’t know what will?! Love this girl and her family!

Sarah & James | Dickey-Stephens Park Engagement

Sarah and James had the idea to use Dickey-Stephens Park for their photos since James is a coach & huge baseball fan! We of course loved the idea! We also used one of our favorite Little Rock walking bridges in downtown LR. It’s always fun photographing friends! Blake & Kori | Conway Wedding

Kori & Blake are one of a kind & precious! Their wedding was our first to shoot on a Friday & our first to shoot at New Life Church in Conway! When Kori first approached me about doing her wedding photography, I was thrilled! I knew that long curly hair of hers & contagious smile would make the most beautiful photographs. But with that aside, she has a beautiful heart! Every time I sent her a preview photo during the editing process she would respond with the best compliments! The icing on the cake is that she is a fellow Alpha Tau, one of my sorority sisters from UCA. I can’t say enough good things about this couple or their sweet wedding! Love!

Cody + Ashliegh | Conway Proposal

This was our second proposal to shoot and we couldn’t have asked for better weather, a more perfect location or a sweeter couple. We are thrilled to shoot their wedding in February! Cody had everything planned out perfectly. We all anxiously awaited for Ashleigh to a arrive at the Painted Table (formerly Michaelangelos) in Conway. Everything about the moment was magical & 30 minutes later after they had dinner with one another, Cody had another surprise for Ashleigh, some of their family and friends were there to celebrate–hidden and tucked away! He even hand made the “Marry Me” sign!! Ashleigh, girl you picked a good one! 😉

Kimberly | Little Rock Bridal Portraits

We are so excited to share these bridals! Kim and Alex got married in June but we took these a few weeks ago because Kim was too busy to take them before their big day. We got rained out from our original location & decided to take them at the State Capitol in Little Rock. We even got some sunshine & were able to take some outside toward the end! We also tried some new things during this session with lighting!

Alpha Sigma Tau | Fall Recruitment 2014

Yesterday UCA finished up Panhellenic Sorority recruitment. We were asked to do recruitment videos for Sigma Kappa and Alpha Sigma Tau. We were of course honored and excited! I know how life changing being a part of a sisterhood can be and feel so thrilled for every woman who accepted a bid to UCA’s chapters! We got to take all of Alpha Tau’s rush photos this year and have been dying to share them with you all! These girls are beautiful inside and out. I have had the privilege of becoming an advisor for AST in the past year and can’t describe the blessing that has been. These girls will forever hold a place in my heart & my fellow advising team is AMAZING! We hope you enjoy these beauties!

Kimberly Phipps | 501 Life Photoshoot

Kim is top 1 the coolest woman I know! Her fiancé, Chris is one lucky guy. We can’t wait to shoot their engagements and wedding next May! When I knew that 501 Life Magazine (a publication that I am a contributor for) was doing a “wheels” edition for the month of September, I knew I had to suggest Kim to the owner! I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way the photos turned out. Taken right in the heart of North Little Rock, this little path was the perfect place! We tried some fun lighting for this one. We hope we captured Kim’s fun, daring personality!

Ashley & Tripp | Little Rock Engagement

Ashley and Tripp were the winners of an Instagram contest we drew for a few months back! We could not have drew a sweeter couple from our bucket. These were taken at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock off Stagecoach, which is one of our favorite wedding venues! Miss Alda is the sweetest! We hoped to capture their southern fairytale in their engagement photos. We hope these two have an amazing wedding in Louisiana!
