It is May – and that means graduation! Alex just recently graduated from North Little Rock High School & we wanted to congratulate him on the blog this weekend. I have known his family a really long time and have done so many sessions from them. I remember when I first met Alex, he was probably 11 or 12 and his now step-mom and I were working together at a salon.
I can’t believe it is time for him to graduate from high school! So glad he chose us for his senior photos, we loved hanging out with him in downtown Little Rock. & I think Jaison equally loved having someone to play Pokemon’ Go with in between location changes, haha! Congrats, Alex!

Kaylee + Dakota Weatherly | Roland, AR Wedding
Kaylee and Dokota’s wedding looked like something out of a southern wedding magazine! She looked like a princess and this was such a special week for her family! This doubled as the week that her niece was born, sweet Charlee made her arrival at the perfect time to take part in the wedding festivities! We got to do sweet Charlee’s newborn photos shortly after this day, getting the opportunity to work with this amazing family once again!
We couldn’t be more happy to have amazing clients live the Harrison & Weatherly families! I love how happy these two were to see one another during their first look — and Jaison captured it perfectly! Check out all of her gorgeous wedding attendants, the bridesmaids dresses are some of my favorites of all time & that color scheme was amazing with the florals! Another favorite thing of ours from this wedding was the CAKE! The cake is a gorgeous strawberry naked cake and it photographed so well! Check out Dakota + Kaylee’s sweet summer wedding on the blog today! We love you two!

Amanda + Hayden | Little Rock, AR Wedding
We didn’t know Amanda and Hayden before booking their wedding but we fell so in love with their personalities along the way. The way they laugh with one another is so touching to watch – you can see exactly what I am talking about in their first look photos; their reactions during the first look are something else!
Amanda is a planner by nature and I knew everything she touched regarding her wedding would turn to gold, everything was so autiful! From her makeup, to her florals – this wedding and the bride were both gorgeous! And their families – we LOVED their families, they made us feel so appreciated and we can’t thank them enough for that. Check out their June wedding! We are in love!

Braden Vaughn & Julie Paladino | Salus, AR Engagements
I didn’t forget about this session–it is one of my favorites! I am FINALLY catching up on blogging and getting to share some fall engagements! I took these last fall on Julie’s grandfather’s land in Salus, AR – which is located in the Ozark National Forest. We had a great time exploring and we even recreated a few poses of JFK and Jackie Kennedy! I loved that Julie loves black and white photos just as much as we do – so we made sure to give her a good variety of beautiful black and white choices! We have so much love for these two! We can’t wait to share their wedding images, coming soon to the blog!

Payne Harding & Leah Yeager | Little Rock, AR Engagements
 When I met with Leah I just loved her! We shot their engagement party back in April and we got to meet all of their friends and family while they celebrated their engagement. She and Payne met when she was working at Cache’ in the River Market. He is the Chef there, and I loved when Leah had the idea to do a few of their photos in the garden on the Harding family farm. We wanted to incorporate a unique element to their photos  – and I think that was the perfect touch. The farm was the perfect setting; beautiful greenery, a cute wooden fence, a lake, a dock, and even a precious chapel that we used in the background for a few photos – we were in photographer Heaven with all of the options.
Afterwards we went to an overlook in Little Rock to shoot some images with the city in the background, I am in love with the shots with the Little Rock skyline. This was an early morning session but they didn’t let the early day stop them from rocking each pose and having fun. We love this couple & we can’t wait to capture their wedding day next April! Congrats you two!

Brighton Gilbert | Oklahoma High School Senior
When Brighton booked her senior session we were SO flattered – this girl and her sweet mom drove 6 hours from Oklahoma to have us take them! We couldn’t believe that she wanted to use us so badly, but we couldn’t be more thankful! A huge thank you to both D1 in Little Rock and the Sherwood Sports Complex for letting us use their facilities. We couldn’t have done this shoot without both of them being so kind to us! We hope your senior year is amazing, Brighton! Thank you for making our whole year by driving so far for this session! We hope you love them as much as we do!

Sydney and Matt are precious and this is one of our favorite engagement sessions to date! Jaison shot this all on his own and I am loving his film photos scattered throughout the blog post, he did an amazing job with these (plus they are super adorable, right?!) We can’t wait for their wedding this September at Cold Springs in Little Rock. For now we will be swooning over these engagements!

Sara + Tanner | North Little Rock Engagements
We have been a little behind on blogging from all of the shoots and weddings we have been doing lately (which is good), so I am just now blogging this fabulous session! We has been wanting to shoot at this location we found while hiking but needed a couple who would be up for a little walk! We knew this couple was the one!It took us 25 minutes to get there and 25 minutes to get back but it was so worth it! Sara and Tanner were fabulous to work with and so easy to photograph! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding this September! For now, enjoy these shots that showcase one of our favorite places in Arkansas.

Amber & Allen | NLR Maternity
It may be wedding season but we sure do love maternity shoots! Amber and Allen are expecting a baby GIRL, Adele Su! I personally can’t wait for her arrival, because with these two as parents – you know she is going to be gorgeous! They brought their cup pup, George to the session and we had a blast at the end getting him to pose by her belly, he is the CUTEST! Check out this beautiful mom-to-be and her sweet hubby! Allie + Richard | Little Rock Wedding
Allie & Richard tied the knot in March at a church in North Little Rock, this particular church was only 3 minutes from our house! It was amazing to hop in the car and be there in less than 5 minutes! Best drive ever, haha!
We wrapped up their night at the train station (Next Level Events) in Little Rock! This wedding was such a smooth day. This couple is so easy to work with and we just did our thing!
We captured so much of their wedding story from engagements, bridals and wedding day! We loved every minute of it! Congrats you two!

Matt Brown | NLR Senior Session Part II
Matt is one of the few senior boys selected to hold the keys to the famous NLR high school truck this year. Jaison and I remember this truck well from when we were in school. I remember posing by it as a senior myself during certain event days at school. It is one thing that makes NLR unique, when I attended North Pulaski I remember thinking how cool NLR was – one reason was because they had this tuck, ha! We were excited to do a second part to Matt’s senior shoot by the truck and it couldn’t have been more perfect of a setting. We also snapped a few of him in his King of the Hill attire (which he won!) Although Matt didn’t want to seem cocky (he is such a nice guy!!) I insisted on him doing some with his hat and sash.

Kerry + Maddie | North Little Rock Engagements
One of our favorite engagement sessions of all time! Kerry & Maddie are so photogenic and were the easiest to work with! Before all this rain hit we were so fortunate to have a beautiful sunny day with gorgeous blue skies! We can’t wait to shoot your wedding next month in April! Ah, to always be this lucky!

Molly + Clay Parker | Hot Springs Wedding
I usually don’t get so emotional when I write blog posts but this is a wedding that was very near and dear to my heart. Molly is one of the most genuine people I have ever met and I have 110% loved getting to capture her journey with Clay! I have known Molly since 2009 when we were ‘pledge buddies’ in Alpha Tau. I believe I mentioned this in a previous blog post, but every new member (pledge) gets a pledge buddy. Your PB is basically your partner for the pledging semester. I am fairly certain we were paired together because we were both redheads, good choice on our pledge mom’s part. I can say Molly and I got even closer our senior year when we were on the AST Executive board. I am forever thankful for that experience and our friendship.
When she got engaged I prayed we would do her wedding photography and I am SO thankful we got the opportunity. From engagements, bridals to the wedding day this has been an incredible experience. I am not sure I have ever had a bride TRUST us so much with her wedding photography. For that, I am eternally grateful and appreciative. Every step of the way,  Molly was encouraging me and constantly telling me how she was so glad she didn’t have to worry about her photos and that she knew they would be perfect. I may be bias, but I think they certainly are PERFECT. Not because of their photographers though, but because this couple has a love so deep it radiates in everything they touch and everything they do. So this may be my longest blog post ever but I literally could not limit this loveliness to a certain number of photos. I didn’t include all the photos that we gave to her and Clay, but I did include over 200 of my favorites. I hope they also become your favorites. With much love I hope you enjoy! Hugs and kisses to my Rwandan friends!

Levi Glenn Perkins | 1 Year Old Photos
Levi Glenn Perkins is too cool and too cute! (Probably because he has some pretty cute and cool parents.) I seriously LOVE this little guy. We have loved documenting his parent’s wedding, mom’s pregnancy, 6 months photos and now his 1 year photos! (And his mom’s real estate headshots). I sincerely am looking forward to capturing Levi’s big life moments for years to come! Love you little guy!

Dustin + Tori | Little Rock Engagements
Dustin has been in my life a looooong time! We grew up with one another and he is probably my longest lasting friend. We will go months without talking but it is the type of friendship where you don’t have to talk everyday but you still have each other’s backs no matter what. He is more like a brother honestly. When I heard he was engaged I was so excited for him! And now that I know Tori, I love her too (maybe more than I like Dustin – just kidding). She is the perfect balance to Dustin, exactly what he needed. And she keeps him in line, which he can be a mess sometimes. Plus she is gorgeous, talk about blonde bombshell!
I am super sad we were booked on their wedding day, not just to photograph it, but just to attend. Dustin was an usher at my wedding a few years back and now I wanted to be there to see him tie the knot! Although I will be photographing another wedding, I will definitely be there in spirit. (I can’t wait to see pics!) I wish you two the best and cheers to many more years of friendship with you both!
