Kaylee + Dakota Weatherly | Roland, AR Wedding

Kaylee and Dokota’s wedding looked like something out of a southern wedding magazine! She looked like a princess and this was such a special week for her family! This doubled as the week that her niece was born, sweet Charlee made her arrival at the perfect time to take part in the wedding festivities! We got to do sweet Charlee’s newborn photos shortly after this day, getting the opportunity to work with this amazing family once again!

We couldn’t be more happy to have amazing clients live the Harrison & Weatherly families! I love how happy these two were to see one another during their first look — and Jaison captured it perfectly! Check out all of her gorgeous wedding attendants, the bridesmaids dresses are some of my favorites of all time & that color scheme was amazing with the florals! Another favorite thing of ours from this wedding was the CAKE! The cake is a gorgeous strawberry naked cake and it photographed so well! Margo + Christian Biggs | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Margo and Christian are two of the kindest and cutest people ever, y’all! They were the most laid back couple and we loved every second that we got to work with them. Christian is in the military and I loved that Margo wanted to carry the American theme throughout their wedding photos. We incorporated the flag into their engagements, her bridals and even their sweet wedding day (check out this EXIT, swooooon – it was perfect!

Their wedding took place at a beautiful church in Little Rock and their reception was held in downtown Little Rock at the Albert Pike Hotel. It was our first time to take photos at Albert Pike and we really loved the elegance of this historic building. Check out their sweet day!

Sam + Jessica | Little Rock Engagements

Sam and Jessica were a blast to photograph! Their city session took place in Little Rock a few weeks ago. These two met at the gym & since fitness is super important to them both, they wanted to incorporate that part of their life. We LOVED some of these fun poses toward the end! We were cracking up as Jess tried to lift Sam up, HILARIOUS!! I couldn’t help but include that photo in this post, because it truly encompasses the whole session – it was seriously so fun! We can not wait to photograph their big day at Enchanted Evening! Jessica is breathtaking and they were both so easy to photograph. Enjoy this city session!

Ashliegh + Cody | Hot Springs Wedding

Ashliegh and Cody probably have one of the sweetest most heartfelt love stories I have ever heard. I feel confident they wouldn’t mind me sharing with you. Shortly after they started dating, both of Cody’s parents passed away in a car accident. Ashliegh never got the chance to meet them. But God knew exactly what Cody would need to get him through the most difficult time in his life – Ashliegh. The wedding was emotional to say the least. I cried when Cody placed the bouquet of flowers on the front pew in the chapel in representation of his parents. Actually I more than cried, along with everyone in the chapel. Which I cry at most things, but this was seriously the most emotional moment I have ever witnessed at a wedding. I am so happy we got to capture this amazing couple’s story from proposal, to bridals and engagements and now wedding day. And I am so excited to be telling their story through these photographs. I know Cody’s parents were smiling down the entire day on these two. It was supposed to rain all day but miraculously a few hours before the ceremony, the sun was shining beautifully. Or should I say the Goffs were shining down on their son and new daughter, because I am confident that is exactly where that sunshine came from. We hope you enjoy looking through this eventful emotional wedding day, these are some of our favorites! Thankful for these new friends of ours!

p.s. – the seashells at the end of the blog post were in Cody’s dad’s pocket when he was found after the wreck, they were returning from the beach. I know those shells will be cherished forever. We were honored to snap a few photos of them!

Justin + Carol | Couples Session

Justin and Carol have been married almost three years! We were so excited to take some fun shots of them Valentine’s Day weekend. I have known Justin a very long time, ten years! Makes me feel old when I think about it. I hadn’t met Carol until this session, but just by doing this photo session I feel like I have also known her forever as well. She was super fun and easy to talk to, the perfect counterpart for Justin! As you can tell these were taken in the dead of winter (and it was COLD that day) but you can see their laughter and smiles are so warm – you can’t even tell it was cold outside! And we found a new location! We can’t wait to photograph these two again!

Molly + Clay Parker | Hot Springs Wedding

I usually don’t get so emotional when I write blog posts but this is a wedding that was very near and dear to my heart. Molly is one of the most genuine people I have ever met and I have 110% loved getting to capture her journey with Clay! I have known Molly since 2009 when we were ‘pledge buddies’ in Alpha Tau. I believe I mentioned this in a previous blog post, but every new member (pledge) gets a pledge buddy. Your PB is basically your partner for the pledging semester. I am fairly certain we were paired together because we were both redheads, good choice on our pledge mom’s part. I can say Molly and I got even closer our senior year when we were on the AST Executive board. I am forever thankful for that experience and our friendship.

When she got engaged I prayed we would do her wedding photography and I am SO thankful we got the opportunity. From engagements, bridals to the wedding day this has been an incredible experience. I am not sure I have ever had a bride TRUST us so much with her wedding photography. For that, I am eternally grateful and appreciative. Every step of the way, Molly was encouraging me and constantly telling me how she was so glad she didn’t have to worry about her photos and that she knew they would be perfect. I may be bias, but I think they certainly are PERFECT. Not because of their photographers though, but because this couple has a love so deep it radiates in everything they touch and everything they do. So this may be my longest blog post ever but I literally could not limit this loveliness to a certain number of photos. I didn’t include all the photos that we gave to her and Clay, but I did include over 200 of my favorites. I hope they also become your favorites. With much love I hope you enjoy! Lauren + Cody | Castle on Stagecoach Engagements

We have been dying to share this session! Thank God for the snow days so we can catch up on blogging and share this sweet love with you. Lauren & Cody will tie the knot at the Castle on Stagecoach this June. We thought it would be special to photograph their engagements here as well as their wedding day photos. Kayla + Bo | Little Rock Wedding

This wedding was many firsts for us! Our first wedding to have a groomsWOMAN, our first wedding on my birthday (I am sure there will be many more), our first wine box ceremony, our first exit with fake snow, our first wedding with an ice sculpture and our first market place catered wedding (which was DELICIOUS)!! This was such a fun time. We love Kayla and Bo and have loved capturing every second of their journey. From Engagement photos…where her engagement ring fell in the river (yep, you heard that right)….we got it back. Thank God! To her gorgeous bridals, to the wedding day…everything was perfect. Loved the idea of saving the newspapers from the wedding day – so unique! We hope you love this winter wonderland wedding! I couldn’t have spent my birthday with better people, happy to share my day with y’all from now on. ps: I will always remember your anniversary 😉

Leeson Wedding | Little Rock

Kasey and Brent are married at last! These two have the cutest little family. I am in love with Braylon’s sweet faces he made throughout the day (soon cute). Remind’s me of Will Smith’s little boy in the Pursuit of Happiness. I have known Kasey since middle school and it is so rewarding to photograph friend’s weddings. I loved seeing so many faces from high school & even middle school. It was one of the happiest days of their lives and I was honored to capture it for them. I hope you enjoy looking at the photos from their day as much as we enjoyed taking them. Cutest kid award goes to Braylon! 😉

Molly + Clay | Little Rock Engagement

We are so excited to share these! We usually don’t do city sessions and we couldn’t have been happier with how this one turned out! Molly and Clay let us have complete creative control and we can’t thank them enough for that. I met Molly in January 2010 when we began pledging Alpha Tau (our friend Breckenn could tell me the date if I asked, haha). She was my ‘pledge buddy’ and I think we were paired together because we were both redheaded, haha. I can’t thank those pledge moms of ours enough for putting us together. So on this shoot we just got to play as photographers and they are naturals!! It was so easy to pose them. They were already how I wanted them majority of the time! These two will tie the knot on January 31st in Hot Springs! Then they are jet setting to Africa to start their married life together (so cool right?!) We are hoping to get to go visit them in Africa (for real). Love these two & love how happy Clay has made Molly. He totally gets my approval!

Kasey and I met many years ago when I was in middle school and she was just starting high school. It is amazing to see where she is today with her sweet family. I am so thankful when old friends look to us for their wedding photography needs! It is such an amazing feeling! Braylon, their son played big role in their engagement pictures too. I was so glad that they included him! If he wasn’t having his picture made, he was making us laugh and providing comic relief. These two will tie the knot at LOFT 1023 on New Year’s Eve! Shelby + Payton | Little Rock Engagement

I am so thankful that Shelby was placed in my life freshman year of college through Alpha Tau. Shelby is my pledge sister and from the very start has been one of the refreshingly honest, most real people that I know. I am so happy that she found Payton, they are seriously perfect for each other! Their session in Little Rock could not have been sweeter! Shelby and Payton are currently in a long-distance relationship and I don’t know how they do it! But it seems to work well for them! We can’t wait to shoot Shelby’s bridals and their wedding next September at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock! We love you two and are thankful for friends like y’all!

Anna + Colby Powell | Little Rock

When we booked Anna Lee + Colby’s wedding I was thrilled! I love booking Alpha Tau weddings because it is like hanging out with friends all day and I get to create lasting memories for them through their photographs (and in this case their video as well). Anna and Colby tied the knot at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock on September 20th! The venue, as always, was GORGEOUS! Miss Alda goes all out for every wedding at her venue and each time it is PERFECT! For their ceremony, Colby came in on a canoe and Anna on a horse-drawn carriage. We did their video as I mentioned earlier as well as their wedding day photography, bridals and engagements! We have sincerely enjoyed working with them over the last year. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness and lots of love! We had a blast sharing your big day with you! We hope everyone enjoys this southern wedding!

Jenna & James Dean | Little Rock Wedding

Jenna and James are the coolest couple ever! Seriously, they are both nurses, which I love that they both share the same profession. As husband and wife photographers, Jaison and I can totally relate to having the same profession as our spouse. It is an amazing experience and a special thing to share! They also are going to appear on the television show ‘Tiny House Nation’ early next year. It was seriously the coolest thing I have ever seen, there was a TV crew filming that their wedding!! Since they’re going to be on that show, that means they just built a “Tiny House,” if you don’t know what that means google the show and check it out. It is super neat! This couple’s love is so real and not to mention they are both GORGEOUS! We loved shooting this wedding at The Villa Marre in Little Rock! Congrats Jenna & James Dean! We love y’all!
