Emily & Jordan Harris | Howell, AR Wedding

We really love so many things about this wedding and we are so excited to finally share it! Emily and Jordan tied the knot last month at the beginning of April. We had a BLAST at this wedding! Emily was my sorority sister and friend way before they became our clients, but she went out of her way to make sure Jaison and I were doing alright and having fun the entire night! (Which she did not have to do AT ALL, but we so dearly appreciate her kindness.) This wedding was held in Howell, Arkansas at The Barn at Cypress Meadows Plantation. It was our first time to work a wedding there but it did not disappoint! The inside of the barn was gorgeous! The photos we got to capture at sunset are my favorite part of this blog post, the lighting was beautiful and their sweet dog got in on a few pictures too! Check out Jordan’s ring too, it is so unique and made for some sweet ring shots!

Amber & Allen | NLR Maternity

It may be wedding season but we sure do love maternity shoots! Amber and Allen are expecting a baby GIRL, Adele Su! I personally can’t wait for her arrival, because with these two as parents – you know she is going to be gorgeous! Kassi + Matt | North Little Rock Engagements

WOW! That is the first thing I have to say about this session. Kassi and Matt are to die for! We actually did this session on two different days in two parts because the first attempt we got caught in the middle of a rainstorm! What are the odds?! This was the first time this has happened to us in six years and it was kind of crazy! So the first part that you will see in the post is from part one and then the remaining two outfits are part two! We managed to snap a few amazing shots before the rain came in on day one and those shots are some of my favorites from all of their photos. The greenery is so vivid and pops right off the screen. We are so happy to be working with these two – they’re so genuine and fun! Can’t wait for Kassi’s bridals this fall and their sweet wedding next April! We love you two already!

Katelyn + Josh | Little Rock Engagements

 

We couldn’t be happier to share these city engagement photos! These images are some of my favorites we have taken lately. I love the way that fuchsia dress pops with the greenery in the background – GORGEOUS! And Katelyn’s long flowing hair is amazing! These two compliment each other so well. They have a masquerade mask because they are doing a masquerade theme for their October 31st wedding! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

So, we started off on the Junction Bridge and is was super windy, but it actually made for a nice natural blow with Katelyn’s hair. Then we made our way around Little Rock.

These two will tie the knot at the same place Jaison and I did almost two years ago, The Marriott  in Little Rock (formerly The Peabody). You can see it in a few shots actually! We had so much fun with you two!

Can’t wait for October!

Lacy Flurry | UCA Senior

Lacy is one of my favorite people in the whole world and I sincerely mean that. She is just as beautiful inside as she is on the outside. She is always telling me how she looks up to me but the truth is I look up to her (literally also – but that’s not what I mean, haha). If you can’t tell from these photos, she is so so involved on UCA’s campus! Check out all of those awards!!! She was an Alpha Tau, homecoming queen, on Who’s Who, Alpha Tau Sister of the Year, AST’s Hardest Worker, AST’s Top Tau, on SOS, Sig Ep Sweetheart of the Year, Greek Goddess, Bear Den Exec and more!! She is so deserving of all of those titles and truly is one of the hardest working people I know! Allie + Richard | Little Rock Wedding

Allie & Richard tied the knot in March at a church in North Little Rock, this particular church was only 3 minutes from our house! It was amazing to hop in the car and be there in less than 5 minutes! Best drive ever, haha!

We wrapped up their night at the train station (Next Level Events) in Little Rock! This wedding was such a smooth day. This couple is so easy to work with and we just did our thing!

Jason Lively | Conway High Senior

We had a blast taking Jason’s senior photos around the Little Rock area. We met his mom through a friend of ours and she has been making me t-shirt blankets for probably over a year now. (She is amazingly talented)! She is actually a photographer herself! We were honored that she asked us to take these, it is always flattering when fellow photographers trust us enough to work on their own projects! Jason is super cool and pretty great at guitar too!

Aimee + Bennett Poynter

Aimee and Bennett tied the knot last month and the day was so special! It is always fun when we are friends with the couple and get to play such a big role in their big day! I remember meeting Aimee when she was a freshman at UCA and I was the yearbook editor. I got to know her even better when we were on SOS together. She is such a blessing to be around. Allie Lillibridge | Maumelle Bridals

I am finally catching up on blogging after an amazing week at the beach! A much needed pre-busy season vacation. Now we are in full work mode and ready to shoot some amazing weddings this year! With seven under our belt for 2015 already, I know this year is going to fly by!

It already feels like we took these ages ago, although it wasn’t really that long ago! We love this simple beautiful country spot in Maumelle for bridals. I actually took my bridals at this exact spot and loved it so much I wanted to come back! Allie and her beautiful dress couldn’t have complimented the location better! We LOVED hanging out with her and mom, even though it was FREEZING! We were all pretty chilly but Allie looks so natural and gorgeous you can’t even tell she was cold. A few weeks later we shot her wedding to Richard and it will be coming to the blog soon!

Ben + Jamie | El Paso Engagements

Ben and Jamie are one of a kind, so genuine, and I love that my family is blending with theirs! My uncle, Scott, will soon be Jamie’s brother-in-law next year when we he and Caeli get married! Caeli is ALREADY a huge part of our family though. tWhen I went to eat with Scott & Caeli this January, Caeli said her sister, Jamie, was looking for a photographer for a California wedding and was interested in using us! I never dreamed it would ACTUALLY happen, because something that amazing just couldn’t happen right?! Well, it did! This is something I have been wanting to do for a few years now. I am obsessed with California and I have never even been there so who knows why. Maybe it was because California was the state I was assigned in 4th grade for a school project, ha, just kidding! Anyway I am getting to go this year – TWICE! The FIRST time will be in July when we go visit Scott & Caeli in L.A. (and take their engagement pictures!) – Scott and Caeli moved there a few years ago and I have been wanting to go visit ever since, 2015 is finally the year! The SECOND time will be to Yosemite for this couples fabulous wedding! This is a dream come true to work with these two and even better that some of my family will be present at the wedding. I know it is going to be a blast and I am counting down the days!

For now, here is a little preview of the sweet couple’s engagements here in Arkansas!

Sam + Jessica | Little Rock Engagements

Sam and Jessica were a blast to photograph! Their city session took place in Little Rock a few weeks ago. These two met at the gym & since fitness is super important to them both, they wanted to incorporate that part of their life. We LOVED some of these fun poses toward the end! We were cracking up as Jess tried to lift Sam up, HILARIOUS!! I couldn’t help but include that photo in this post, because it truly encompasses the whole session – it was seriously so fun! We can not wait to photograph their big day at Enchanted Evening! Sydney + Evan | Little Rock Engagements

Sydney and Evan are the perfect pair! They’re so silly and so in love, they really balance one another out so so well. Their engagement session was perfect. Everything about it. First, they’re adorable. Downtown was thriving this Sunday afternoon and we even got to snag a couple photos in front of this Volkswagen bus (which made me so happy)! It was pretty amazing! We hope you enjoy this session because we had the best time shooting it. & We can not wait to shoot their wedding this October.

Jenna + Joe | Little Rock Proposal

When Joe e-mailed us about his plans to propose we were thrilled! We LOVE proposals and anything involving sweet couples. So we got setup in downtown Little Rock and I pretended to be reading a magazine on a bench by myself with my camera hidden and Jaison was pretending to be taking photos of random things downtown. In the meantime we waited for Jenna and Joe to arrive on their specified bench that Joe picked out earlier that week. He started out with a sweet letter and then popped the question! Everything about this proposal was so sweet and perfect! Then we had some fun and took some fun pictures on top of the parking garage afterward. It was the best day!
