It’s finally here…our road-trip photos! In June and July, Jaison and I took three weeks to explore the great outdoors. We traveled West and had the best time of our lives. This was our first long trip alone since our honeymoon in Hawaii and it was equally as memorable.
We traveled for 18 days, 6400 miles in our jeep. We saw more things than I can mention, we argued some (haha) but who wouldn’t after 3 weeks in a car together?! We drove 14 hour days like they were nothing, because we wanted to fit in as much as possible!
Here are SOME of the things we saw and places we went:
STATES (in no particular order):
Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Kansas, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and of course Arkansas!
Points of interest: Fisherman’s Wharf, Yellowstone, Garden of the Gods, Denver, Gran Teton, Old Faithful, Golden-gate Bridge, Emerald Bay, San Francisco, L.A., Venice Beach, Four Corners, Griffith Observatory, Hollywood Blvd., Marilyn Monroe’s handprints, Santa Monica Pier, Muscle Beach, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Redwood National Forest, a Drive-Thru Tree, Alcatraz, We ran into Andrew Zimmerman from the food network shooting something for T.V., The house from the T.V. show – Full House, The original Ghiaradelli, The Hollywood Sign, Rodeo Drive, The hotel from Pretty Woman, WB Studios, ABC Studios, China Town, Big Sur, Pacific Hwy #1, Route 66, Cadillac Ranch, Twitter Headquarters to name a few.
The best part was spending the 4th of July and a few other days with my uncle, his fiancé’ and our friends Blake and Meleah in Los Angeles! (you’ll see them in a few photos).
We also did two engagement sessions – one in California and one in Colorado!
This is a complication of true film photos, digital photos with our Nikon, iPhone photos and polaroids. *
Enjoy a peek into our journey, it was the best.
