GET READY FOR AN AMAZING WEDDING BELOW!!!! This may be my biggest blog post ever as far as amount of pictures that are included. BUT …

Maddie & Kerry tied the knot on April 11th in NWA. It was our first wedding to shoot in NWA and we LOVED the venue! One of our favorite barns ever and one of our favorite couples! The ceremony and reception was held at the Cypress Barn in Siloam Springs. Lighting was amazing, weather was amazing and they looked fabulous! Also another first for us – Kerry was our first Marine groom! (Our favorite grooms cake EVER is also featured in this blog post) We loved getting to work with this blonde bombshell and her handsome groom. You two are the sweetest and we hope to photograph some Bartholomew babies one day!
ps: This is a great example of the benefits of doing a first look! They have SO many great portraits of just the two of them because we had extra time because they did a first look. Not required but a definite plus!
Lots of love!

Sometimes we get to work with other vendors and just play! This is one of the best things about our job – working with other vendors! We loved getting to do a shoot for Events Rental and Floral in Conway. The owner, Jennifer, is the sweetest! And the head floral designer, Anna, is AMAZING! This duo and their team were so fun and we all used our collective creative visions to capture these images! In this blog post we showcase some of their rental items and some of their fabulous florals! We love working with them and so excited that three of our May brides are using them! We can’t wait to work with them more!

We have been a little behind on blogging from all of the shoots and weddings we have been doing lately (which is good), so I am just now blogging this fabulous session! We has been wanting to shoot at this location we found while hiking but needed a couple who would be up for a little walk! We knew this couple was the one!It took us 25 minutes to get there and 25 minutes to get back but it was so worth it! Sara and Tanner were fabulous to work with and so easy to photograph! We can’t wait to shoot their wedding this September! For now, enjoy these shots that showcase one of our favorite places in Arkansas.

Today was Renee’s wedding to Justin, which means I can share her sweet bridals! This is the first time I have used oversized balloons for bridals but I love the way they pop against the greenery! They’re just fun! She looked so stunningly gorgeous! Loved photographing their wedding today and can’t wait to share their wedding photos! For now, enjoy her precious session!

We couldn’t be happier to share these city engagement photos! These images are some of my favorites we have taken lately. I love the way that fuchsia dress pops with the greenery in the background – GORGEOUS! And Katelyn’s long flowing hair is amazing! These two compliment each other so well. They have a masquerade mask because they are doing a masquerade theme for their October 31st wedding! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
So, we started off on the Junction Bridge and is was super windy, but it actually made for a nice natural blow with Katelyn’s hair. Then we made our way around Little Rock.
These two will tie the knot at the same place Jaison and I did almost two years ago, The Marriott  in Little Rock (formerly The Peabody). You can see it in a few shots actually! We had so much fun with you two!
Can’t wait for October!
xoxo

This couple is SO fun! I can’t even tell you how much fun they are to be around. They’re genuine, sweet and hilarious ANDDDD…. they love Disney! Jaison and I are huge Disney fans ourselves and we have been five times together since 2010. Jaison has been over 20 times hahaha! God knew what he was doing when he sent these clients our way, because they are a perfect match for us as photographers! These two will tie the knot this May at Enchanted Evening! We can’t wait to spend the day with you two next month! I had a blast taking your engagements!
xoxo

Aimee and Bennett tied the knot last month and the day was so special! It is always fun when we are friends with the couple and get to play such a big role in their big day! I remember meeting Aimee when she was a freshman at UCA and I was the yearbook editor. I got to know her even better when we were on SOS together. She is such a blessing to be around. These two were married in Hot Springs and had their reception at The Regency! It was such a sweet intimate ceremony! We are happy to share it on the blog today! We wish you both much happiness!
xoxo,

I am finally catching up on blogging after an amazing week at the beach! A much needed pre-busy season vacation. Now we are in full work mode and ready to shoot some amazing weddings this year! With seven under our belt for 2015 already, I know this year is going to fly by!
It already feels like we took these ages ago, although it wasn’t really that long ago! We love this simple beautiful country spot in Maumelle for bridals. I actually took my bridals at this exact spot and loved it so much I wanted to come back! Allie and her beautiful dress couldn’t have complimented the location better! We LOVED hanging out with her and mom, even though it was FREEZING! We were all pretty chilly but Allie looks so natural and gorgeous you can’t even tell she was cold. A few weeks later we shot her wedding to Richard and it will be coming to the blog soon!
For now, enjoy this sweet bride and her bridals!
xoxo,
Callie

Ben and Jamie are one of a kind, so genuine, and I love that my family is blending with theirs! My uncle, Scott, will soon be Jamie’s brother-in-law next year when we he and Caeli get married! Caeli is ALREADY a huge part of our family though. tWhen I went to eat with Scott & Caeli this January, Caeli said her sister, Jamie, was looking for a photographer for a California wedding and was interested in using us! I never dreamed it would ACTUALLY happen, because something that amazing just couldn’t happen right?! Well, it did! This is something I have been wanting to do for a few years now. I am obsessed with California and I have never even been there so who knows why. Maybe it was because California was the state I was assigned in 4th grade for a school project, ha, just kidding! Anyway I am getting to go this year – TWICE! The FIRST time will be in July when we go visit Scott & Caeli in L.A. (and take their engagement pictures!) –Â Scott and Caeli moved there a few years ago and I have been wanting to go visit ever since, 2015 is finally the year! The SECOND time will be to Yosemite for this couples fabulous wedding! This is a dream come true to work with these two and even better that some of my family will be present at the wedding. I know it is going to be a blast and I am counting down the days!
For now, here is a little preview of the sweet couple’s engagements here in Arkansas!
Love,
Callie

Sam and Jessica were a blast to photograph! Their city session took place in Little Rock a few weeks ago. These two met at the gym & since fitness is super important to them both, they wanted to incorporate that part of their life. We LOVED some of these fun poses toward the end! We were cracking up as Jess tried to lift Sam up, HILARIOUS!! I couldn’t help but include that photo in this post, because it truly encompasses the whole session – it was seriously so fun! We can not wait to photograph their big day at Enchanted Evening! Jessica is breathtaking and they were both so easy to photograph. Enjoy this city session!

Sydney and Evan are the perfect pair! They’re so silly and so in love, they really balance one another out so so well. Their engagement session was perfect. Everything about it. First, they’re adorable. Downtown was thriving this Sunday afternoon and we even got to snag a couple photos in front of this Volkswagen bus (which made me so happy)! It was pretty amazing! We hope you enjoy this session because we had the best time shooting it. & We can not wait to shoot their wedding this October.
Lots of love,
Callie
p.s. swooooning over her cute outfits!

When Joe e-mailed us about his plans to propose we were thrilled! We LOVE proposals and anything involving sweet couples. So we got setup in downtown Little Rock and I pretended to be reading a magazine on a bench by myself with my camera hidden and Jaison was pretending to be taking photos of random things downtown. In the meantime we waited for Jenna and Joe to arrive on their specified bench that Joe picked out earlier that week. He started out with a sweet letter and then popped the question! Everything about this proposal was so sweet and perfect! Then we had some fun and took some fun pictures on top of the parking garage afterward. It was the best day!

So I am pretty obsessed with this session! It couldn’t have went more perfectly. This was the aftermath of all the snow and ice we had and it made for some of the coolest photos that I think we have ever taken. The ones of the ice-cycles hanging under the bridge on the vines – oh.my.word.
Katie and Will are super easy to work with and photograph – so that was a huge plus! We met Katie through the NLR Athletic Club and we have known Will since high school. We are blessed to be able to photograph their wedding this fall and can’t wait to share more of their magic!
Lots of love,
Callie

Paula and Andy are just the coolest couple. I love being around them! From hearing the story on how they started dating to them getting engaged – I just think they’re such neat people! When I met with them the first time I was shocked to hear that Paula knew my childhood friend, Cassie. We were close friends in Virginia, when we both lived there because we were military brats. However, Cassie is from Arizona originally and Paula and her went to college together in AZ. Â SUCH A SMALL WORLD! It made me feel just a little closer to Cassie when taking Paula’s engagements, which was such an awesome feeling!
These two are going to have amazingly beautiful tall babies (ha, I may be jumping the gun a little) but seriously I love this couple’s height. Something Jaison and I do not possess, haha.
I can’t wait for this wedding – I know it will be wonderful! I just love Paula & Andy so much already, we can’t wait to get to know you even better!
p.s. the snow was just the right touch!

Yesterday Aimee and Bennett were married in Hot Springs! What a beautiful church wedding, we had the best time capturing it! We have been patiently waiting to share her stunning bridals! Aimee is such a fun person that is truly the life of the party. She is a pleasure to be around & I am thankful that I got to know her while I was in school at UCA. We wish her and Bennett a long happy marriage. We can’t wait to share their wedding photos! Enjoy this natural beauty!

We have been dying to share this session! Thank God for the snow days so we can catch up on blogging and share this sweet love with you. Lauren & Cody will tie the knot at the Castle on Stagecoach this June. We thought it would be special to photograph their engagements here as well as their wedding day photos. This redheaded sweetheart and her beau are the cutest couple! We hope you enjoy this as much as we did. Huge thanks to Walter at the Castle for letting us use the property for this session! Lots of love!

This wedding was many firsts for us! Our first wedding to have a groomsWOMAN, our first wedding on my birthday (I am sure there will be many more), our first wine box ceremony, our first exit with fake snow, our first wedding with an ice sculpture and our first market place catered wedding (which was DELICIOUS)!! This was such a fun time. We love Kayla and Bo and have loved capturing every second of their journey. From Engagement photos…where her engagement ring fell in the river (yep, you heard that right)….we got it back. Thank God! To her gorgeous bridals, to the wedding day…everything was perfect. Loved the idea of saving the newspapers from the wedding day – so unique! We hope you love this winter wonderland wedding! I couldn’t have spent my birthday with better people, happy to share my day with y’all from now on. ps: I will always remember your anniversary 😉
Love y’all,
