The Wood Family | Little Rock Mini Session

I am thankful that I met Catherine through the UCA Young Alumni Association Board! Her little family is so so cute aren’t they?! Little Natalie smiled like a champ, even though I was certain we would be blown away by the crazy wind! There is only one word to describe this session, PRECIOUS! It was so hard to choose my favorites for this blog post, Natalie looked so sweet in all of them! Enjoy!

p.s. It is just a bonus that Catherine is one of my sorority sisters and I didn’t even know it until recently. I love that Alpha Tau is something I can share with so many incredible women! Feeling blessed!

The Taylors | Little Rock Family Session

I was so excited to photograph this family! Courtney is one of my sorority sisters and she also used to work for me when I managed the salon. I have met very few people as precious as Courtney, then I met her whole family and loved them too. They were so hilarious, loving and just plain cute! Jason and Gage look like clones of one another and Courtney and her mom, Amy are without a doubt mother and daughter. I loved sharing laughs with this crew! Be sure to check out their silly Christmas card picture, it is one of my favorites of the day!

Tony, Amy & Abi | Little Rock Family Session

I met Amy several years ago while working at the salon and I am so thankful that God placed her in my life. She has been such a mentor and friend to me inside and outside of work! We love taking their family photos and this year Abi had the prettiest dress! Abi has grown so much since she was the flower girl in our wedding a year and a half ago, it is amazing how time flies! She gets prettier and prettier with age. I enjoyed dropping off their photos at their house tonight and playing school with Abi, she is a hoot! And they even brought Allie, their sweet pup!

Shun | UCA Senior

Shun is one of the coolest people I know. Seriously. He is such a neat guy! He is friendly to everyone and SO involved on UCA’s campus! I am thankful I got to meet him through the Ambassador program and Student Orientation staff when I was a student at UCA. Shun you will go far, I can already tell! Karen + Matt | Little Rock Maternity Session

Karen is one of my dearest friends and when she asked me to take her maternity photos with her husband Matt, I was so excited! I have loved seeing their relationship evolve since I first saw the pictures on Facebook of Matt proposing. First let me say, it was FREEZING that day but Karen and Matt posed like professionals! They were up for any idea I had, even if that meant laying Karen on top of the picnic table. Which in my opinion was pretty impressive since she is pregnant! They don’t even look the slightest bit cold in the photos. I can’t wait to continue watching this family grow and I am excited to meet Miss Liken Bowers! I know she will be beautiful just like her mom.

Abi + Jake McAllister | Little Rock Wedding

We are so excited to bring you the McAllister wedding! Abi and Jake tied the knot on October 4th in Little Rock! They had their reception at Next Level Events, also known as the train station. Throughout the blog post you will see their adorable son, my favorite moment was when he was watching Abi dance with her dad, his grandpa. It is the sweetest moment ever! The bridesmaids dresses were gorgeous and Abi’s hair is my AMAZING! Love, love, love the side braid! Enjoy this gorgeous wedding! Kasey and I met many years ago when I was in middle school and she was just starting high school. It is amazing to see where she is today with her sweet family. I am so thankful when old friends look to us for their wedding photography needs! It is such an amazing feeling! Braylon, their son played big role in their engagement pictures too. I was so glad that they included him! If he wasn’t having his picture made, he was making us laugh and providing comic relief. These two will tie the knot at LOFT 1023 on New Year’s Eve! She had a completely different look for her wedding day (which we also loved)! We were happy we were able to get two totally different feels of her in her beautifully unique dress! Currie and Josiah | DeWitt, AR Wedding

Currie and Josiah tied the knot of July 26, 2014! We were so so happy to shoot their wedding! This was a wedding where we did photo + video for the couple! We had an awesome team working with us that day, and we were able to capture so many of their special moments. Although I knew Currie from being in Alpha Tau, I loved getting to know her even better throughout her wedding process from engagements to bridals to wedding day! Currie is truly a Southern Belle and I loved working with her and Josiah! Josiah is such a nice guy and it is obvious he and Currie are meant to be! My favorite picture of them all is the one of Josiah with a huge smile on his face after he kisses Currie Jane during the ceremony! SO SWEET! We hope to work with you two again in the future!

I am so thankful that Shelby was placed in my life freshman year of college through Alpha Tau. Shelby is my pledge sister and from the very start has been one of the refreshingly honest, most real people that I know. I am so happy that she found Payton, they are seriously perfect for each other! Their session in Little Rock could not have been sweeter! Shelby and Payton are currently in a long-distance relationship and I don’t know how they do it! But it seems to work well for them! We can’t wait to shoot Shelby’s bridals and their wedding next September at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock! We love you two and are thankful for friends like y’all!

Anna + Colby Powell | Little Rock

When we booked Anna Lee + Colby’s wedding I was thrilled! I love booking Alpha Tau weddings because it is like hanging out with friends all day and I get to create lasting memories for them through their photographs (and in this case their video as well). Anna and Colby tied the knot at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock on September 20th! The venue, as always, was GORGEOUS! Miss Alda goes all out for every wedding at her venue and each time it is PERFECT! For their ceremony, Colby came in on a canoe and Anna on a horse-drawn carriage. We did their video as I mentioned earlier as well as their wedding day photography, bridals and engagements! We have sincerely enjoyed working with them over the last year. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness and lots of love! We had a blast sharing your big day with you! We hope everyone enjoys this southern wedding!

Alpha Sigma Tau | Fall Recruitment 2014

Yesterday UCA finished up Panhellenic Sorority recruitment. We were asked to do recruitment videos for Sigma Kappa and Alpha Sigma Tau. We were of course honored and excited! I know how life changing being a part of a sisterhood can be and feel so thrilled for every woman who accepted a bid to UCA’s chapters! We got to take all of Alpha Tau’s rush photos this year and have been dying to share them with you all! These girls are beautiful inside and out. I have had the privilege of becoming an advisor for AST in the past year and can’t describe the blessing that has been. These girls will forever hold a place in my heart & my fellow advising team is AMAZING! We hope you enjoy these beauties!

Kimberly Phipps | 501 Life Photoshoot

Kim is top 1 the coolest woman I know! Her fiancé, Chris is one lucky guy. We can’t wait to shoot their engagements and wedding next May! When I knew that 501 Life Magazine (a publication that I am a contributor for) was doing a “wheels” edition for the month of September, I knew I had to suggest Kim to the owner! I couldn’t have been more pleased with the way the photos turned out. Taken right in the heart of North Little Rock, this little path was the perfect place! We tried some fun lighting for this one. We hope we captured Kim’s fun, daring personality!

Ashley and Tripp were the winners of an Instagram contest we drew for a few months back! We could not have drew a sweeter couple from our bucket. These were taken at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock off Stagecoach, which is one of our favorite wedding venues! Miss Alda is the sweetest! North Little Rock Football 2014

North Little Rock High School Football 2014. Last year I talked to Coach Bolding about doing preseason photos and video for the team. Everything turned out so well last year that we decided to do this every year! That hard part is coming up with new ideas for the shoots!! On the night of the shoot, or course, it was raining. We were supposed to begin at 9pm. That did not happen. We all waited out the rain and began setting up around 10:30. The shoot lasted until 1am! I am very happy we waited out storm and got this shoot in! Big thanks to Coach Bolding for organizing all this and buying pizza for the players and myself!!

Easton 2nd Birthday | Pizan Family
