Kelsey and Nelson’s day was so special and I am thrilled I was able to be a part of it! I remember meeting Kels at a coffee shop last year and instantly just loved her! She is so fun and someone I love to be around! I am so thankful that we have become friends after she chose Jaison and I as her wedding photographers – and I am so glad that she did choose us! This is a reason I love my job so much, making real connections with brides that often become my friends after their big day has come and gone. I love that we often have weekly dates to go eat dinner with one another and couldn’t be more thankful for a bride like this special lady! I loved capturing every second of this day !

(and Nelson is pretty great too, haha)

Tara Anglin + Daniel Wright | Hot Springs, AR Wedding

Tara and Daniel – oh my gosh THIS DAY! It was even more beautiful looking back than I remembered. I remember thinking as I was shooting this – everything is going so well and how beautiful everything was.

From both getting ready locations – to the ceremony location at the Hamp Williams Building in Hot Springs, everything looked like it was straight out of a magazine!

& These two are gorgeous right?! And I don’t think I am being biased here (Tara is my big from our sorority in college, a dear friend of mine, and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding, XO!) But really, everything was so amazing for their May wedding. I shouldn’t be surprised though, everything Tara does is so well thought out and planned, there was no way it couldn’t have been gorgeous! SO excited to share these images from their big day! Enjoy!

Margo + Christian Biggs | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Margo and Christian are two of the kindest and cutest people ever, y’all! They were the most laid back couple and we loved every second that we got to work with them. Christian is in the military and I loved that Margo wanted to carry the American theme throughout their wedding photos. We incorporated the flag into their engagements, her bridals and even their sweet wedding day (check out this EXIT, swooooon – it was perfect!

Their wedding took place at a beautiful church in Little Rock and their reception was held in downtown Little Rock at the Albert Pike Hotel. It was our first time to take photos at Albert Pike and we really loved the elegance of this historic building. Check out their sweet day!

Braden Vaughn & Julie Paladino | Salus, AR Engagements

I didn’t forget about this session–it is one of my favorites! I am FINALLY catching up on blogging and getting to share some fall engagements! I took these last fall on Julie’s grandfather’s land in Salus, AR – which is located in the Ozark National Forest. We had a great time exploring and we even recreated a few poses of JFK and Jackie Kennedy! I loved that Julie loves black and white photos just as much as we do – so we made sure to give her a good variety of beautiful black and white choices! We have so much love for these two! The Keiths are finally on the blog! We have been patiently waiting to finish editing this wedding and we may have even taken a break from our Disney vacation to complete these because we didn’t want to keep them waiting! We didn’t mind at all though because this couple is adorable! Brandi and John tied the knot on October 25th at the Hendrix chapel in Conway. Their reception was held at the Old Gin, also in Conway. We got to include our best friends in our mini session day this year! Although we shot Abbey’s sister’s wedding, Abbey and Kyle have never had a session with just the two of them before. Trey | North Little Rock Drummer

First off, let me just say that Trey is fantastic drummer!! When I was carrying my gear in to where we were shooting I could hear Trey practicing from the parking lot. I thought to myself, “Wow, this guy is good!” A few weeks ago Trey’s father asked me to take some photos of his son playing drums. When I started thinking about how I wanted to shoot this I knew I wanted to try something new and edgy. With the help of some stage fog and strobe lighting we ended up with some awesome photos!!

Jenna & James | Little Rock Engagement

From the moment I met Jenna and James at Starbucks for their consultation I knew I would just love them! They are both nurses and naturally so down-to-earth, easy going and just overall precious! Their session at Two Rivers Park in Little Rock has been one of my favorites. After I suggested the location they were on board, especially since James proposed there! The weather was perfect after a week of rain prior. (Can we get back to that weather ASAP please?) They had the BEST idea to bring a pop-up tent to change clothes in. As a result we are now going to buy one for future sessions! We can not wait for their wedding in September! We hope you enjoy this sweet couple, we sure enjoyed taking these!

Sinehan | Headshots

All future doctors eventually need a headshot, or two, or three. Sinehan, who is a good friend of mine, texted me a few weeks back asking if we did headshots. We told her of course! They’re not our specialty, by any means, but we were up for the challenge; even if she sent us photos of crazy models with boas.

We had to mess around and get some fun shots when we found a hilarious mask in the office desk. So glad Sinehan was down to clown!

On a serious note, she is breathtaking! Beauty, brains and a sense of humor. We laughed so much during this shoot!

Payton Holmes | North Little Rock High School Senior

After taking all of the photos for the NLR Charging Wildcats team this season, I was excited to get the opportunity to shoot Payton’s senior session. When I had originally talked to him about the session he wanted to take some photos on the football field. Well, when it came time for the session the field had already been demolished making way for a new field and school buildings. Wondering what to do, I proposed that we still take the photos by the field with the demolition going on. Payton and his mother were all for it!
