Elise is the type of bride that comes into your life as a photographer and she is nothing but a blessing. Her wedding was one that I booked about 1.5 months before her big day, she had just got engaged and was planning quickly. She is a teacher and her newlywed husband is a farmer – November was the best time that worked for both of their careers. So the planning for Elise began… and I was the lucky photographer that got to work with her. When I say I loved every second of working with her, she was the biggest joy to be around — THE WHOLE TIME! And Luke was equally as precious, together they make the cutest couple!
Her response when she saw her photos was: “These are freaking amazing!!!!!! I love love love triple love them!!!”
When a bride loves her wedding photos as much as you love them as a photographer, it is the BEST feeling!
From her family, to his family — everyone was so fun & they made me feel welcome every second of the day! I could tell how close Elise was with her mom at the bridal session….and it reminded me of myself and my mom. I love when daughters are best friends with their mom. It makes for the BEST getting ready photos. Did you see those sweet tears the two shed when exchanging gifts with one another!?
So many things I love about her wedding so I will name just a few. First —the DRESS! Isn’t it amazing!? I see A LOT of wedding dresses and this is one of my favorites of all time! Her flowers, the venue, her floral crown, her gorgeous hair, the bridesmaids dresses with their popping colorful bouquets – I loved all the details!
Then we got to the reception and she busted out the most awesome father-daughter dance & then the bridal party later joined in! (You will see this in the reception photos!) There were so many moments from the day that I loved, it was sincerely hard for me to narrow them down. I took a ton out but here are my favorites, all 300-something of them!
So I will end by saying I have a girl-crush on Elise! Thank you for being a dream bride to work with, I just love you and Luke! Wishing you both much happiness!
Enjoy this fabulous wedding!
