Tracie & Nathan’s day was one I will never forget. It was windy, I mean, REALLY windy – but despite the wind, it was beautiful and perfect. At the end of the day – they are just as married as a couple that gets married with perfect weather. I think sometimes we get so wrapped up in everything being perfect or not going the way we thought it would – you lose sight of what really matters; but they stayed calm and relaxed the entire time.
I think the weather was the perfect metaphor for the start of a marriage. You think you have all of these plans and many of them will happen just the way you hope; but life does throw curveballs sometimes and you just have to go with the flow when these unexpected moments change your course. Tracie and Nathan did just that – went with the flow and chose to be happy even with the crazy weather! After-all, they had an amazing team behind the scenes working to keep everything running smoothly; Andrea Goodwin and Anne-Claire worked their magic to make sure everything was taken care of! So thankful for this team!

When Tracie approached us about photographing her wedding, I knew she would be such a fun bride to work with. Tracie and I have been friends almost six years, we met when she joined Alpha Tau at UCA- in January of 2012. Since then, Tracie has become one of the most genuine and energetic people I know. Loving animals like I do, we automatically became friends. With her love for animals, we HAD to sneak in a few bridal portraits with the venue owner’s cats – so hilarious! (See below)!
Anne-Claire Allen Planning & Design made all of her wedding dreams come true. The venue, Goodwin Manor was the perfect setting for her bridals and wedding day – I love this venue & the owners so much. There is just not any venue in Arkansas that looks like this one — it is GORGEOUS! Chanda Price made Tracie look flawless with beautiful hair and makeup. Wedding photos coming soon, but for now, cheers to this fabulous bride & her fall bridal session!

I have been patiently waiting to post these for over a month! Since Lauren and Heath’s wedding was this past weekend – I am finally allowed to share! Lauren in stunningly beautiful; but my favorite part about her is her heart for others.
She often reminds me of a younger version of myself; with wayyyyy better basketball skills (not even kidding!) I loved getting to meet her family and friends this past weekend at her home church in Cabot, (where the wedding was held).
She and Heath have been dating since high school and I loved getting to know her through Alpha Tau at UCA, I got to be a mentor to her during her time as Alpha Tau’s president. SO thankful for this chance that I have had to grow closer in my relationship with her through her wedding journey! I can’t wait for her wedding photos to be ready; Lauren, Haeth and their entire bridal party looked so stunning! So excited that your new journey with Heath has officially started! Happy honey-mooning this week!

We are throwing it back to Regan + Cory’s Little Rock engagement session because they celebrated their WEDDING DAY this past Saturday and it was AMAZING! These two are so much fun and just the kindest, most complimentary couple! Regan constantly told us how thankful she was, which really meant so much to us. They both really made our job super fun and we have loved getting to call them our clients! Wedding photos coming soon but these may tide you over for just a bit! <3

It’s not every day that your best friend is pregnant; and not every day that you get to photograph her maternity photos! This was the first baby for Abbey and Kyle and Jaison and I could not be happier.
We have photographed so many special memories for them (Christmas photos, the proposal, engagements, bridals, wedding, maternity, birth and now new newborn photos) — capturing these moments have been some of the sweetest times we have all shared as a family; because that is what these two are to us – family.
Kaden Lusinger made his way in to this world on St. Patrick’s Day — a day we will all remember and cherish! We have loved being aunt Callie and uncle Jay and can’t wait to wait that sweet baby grow! We did his newborn photos this last week and I can’t believe it has already been two weeks since he was born! I just thought to myself, oh my gosh I need to share Abbey’s maternity session on our blog because time is flying by! I photographed his birth and that was one of the most life changing sweet moments I have ever experienced. Â Loved capturing this sweet moment for Abbey and Kyle & all of their future moments to come <3

Watching Mallory and Colton’s relationship grow has been one of my favorite things. I literally love these two – and I love them together. They are literally the same person – just the male and female version of one another. They are sweet, kind, quirky, hilarious, cute, and two of the most genuine people you will ever meet. They are hands down one of my favorite couples; that double as great friends to Jaison and I.
We met them at UCA and I have always thought of Mallory as a little sister. She was in my sorority and she was Jenny’s (my roommate in college) “little” in AST. I loved Mal since I met her, I remember the first time I met her to be exact. Jenny asked if I wanted to go meet her new little in her dorm-room, and of course I said yes. I wanted to meet our sweet new AST from Texas!
Mallory was actually in a wheelchair at the time — she had been in a really bad car accident but still was as cute as a button! Fast forward through college and I got to know her even better through our time at UCA.
Then after college, their best friends – Kim and Chris Diaz (who we also love to the moon) got married and all three of us couples got to bond a little further through that experience of the Diaz wedding & wedding planning.
When Mallory called and said she wanted us to be her and Colton’s wedding photographers, it was such an exciting day and I couldn’t have been more excited to work with these two! I am so thankful for friends like these two who have supported us every step of the way in our journey with Sterling Imageworks. They have watched our company grow almost the entire time we have been in business. With that being said, we thought it was only fitting to start the session where it all began — UCA. And we ended in downtown Conway with more of a formal look.
(Love love love the shirts they wore in the first part — Mallory is from Texas and Colton from Oklahoma) Â — such a cute idea! Here is a glimpse into their engagement session – we are completely swooning over them all.
We love you two!

Spring is the perfect time for blogging all of our pretty brides from 2016 – and Veronica is one we have been so excited to show off! I had so much fun with her and her mom during her bridals in Little Rock. She and Kyle celebrated their big day in Conway last fall and we have been loving all of her posts about married life and how happy they are! <3 So thrilled to bring this session to the blog today! Happy Friday!

We have been waiting forever to share these! Bridals from the castle never disappoint! Every time I do a session there, I catch myself daydreaming …

When Joe e-mailed us about his plans to propose we were thrilled! We LOVE proposals and anything involving sweet couples. So we got setup in downtown Little Rock and I pretended to be reading a magazine on a bench by myself with my camera hidden and Jaison was pretending to be taking photos of random things downtown. In the meantime we waited for Jenna and Joe to arrive on their specified bench that Joe picked out earlier that week. He started out with a sweet letter and then popped the question! Everything about this proposal was so sweet and perfect! Then we had some fun and took some fun pictures on top of the parking garage afterward. It was the best day!

I usually don’t get so emotional when I write blog posts but this is a wedding that was very near and dear to my heart. Molly is one of the most genuine people I have ever met and I have 110% loved getting to capture her journey with Clay! I have known Molly since 2009 when we were ‘pledge buddies’ in Alpha Tau. I believe I mentioned this in a previous blog post, but every new member (pledge) gets a pledge buddy. Your PB is basically your partner for the pledging semester. I am fairly certain we were paired together because we were both redheads, good choice on our pledge mom’s part. I can say Molly and I got even closer our senior year when we were on the AST Executive board. I am forever thankful for that experience and our friendship.
When she got engaged I prayed we would do her wedding photography and I am SO thankful we got the opportunity. From engagements, bridals to the wedding day this has been an incredible experience. I am not sure I have ever had a bride TRUST us so much with her wedding photography. For that, I am eternally grateful and appreciative. Every step of the way,  Molly was encouraging me and constantly telling me how she was so glad she didn’t have to worry about her photos and that she knew they would be perfect. I may be bias, but I think they certainly are PERFECT. Not because of their photographers though, but because this couple has a love so deep it radiates in everything they touch and everything they do. So this may be my longest blog post ever but I literally could not limit this loveliness to a certain number of photos. I didn’t include all the photos that we gave to her and Clay, but I did include over 200 of my favorites. I hope they also become your favorites. With much love I hope you enjoy! Hugs and kisses to my Rwandan friends!
