Caroline + David were truly a dream to work with from the start. So easy going & just the kindest couple. Always thanking us & just making us so feel appreciated, meant so much to us! I hope they know how much that we feel the same exact way! As they soak up the sun on their honeymoon I’ll just be over here still dreaming about their wedding cake🧁 (if I’m being truly honest, it was a highlight for me 😂) + their floral tunnel was what my dreams were made of. Happy Monday! Anyone else secretly love Monday? Just a little bit? For me it feels a little bit like a reset. Since we usually shoot A LOT on the weekends, Monday is usually the day we spend editing, working on contracts, social media, emails, etc! Feels good to check things off our to-do lists, look at our shoots that are coming up for the week & get ready to tackle it all. & not to mention there is just something comfortable about coming back to your routine after vacation. We are happy to be back at it and feeling refreshed (and still recovering from all the walking at Disney😆) We have never enjoyed sitting at our desk so much!

Cheers to the weekend ✨🥂 we are traveling back from Disney this weekend after a week full of celebrating at the Happiest Place on Earth. Always bitter-sweet to end a vacation but we are excited to be back in our own beds & looking forward to snuggles with our puppies. Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend?!

Wedding season is here & we are here for it. Taking a quick vacation to Disney {with our computer to edit during breaks from the park} before we dive right back into our regularly programmed wedding schedule 👏🏼 we booked two weddings while we’ve been here & we are so excited to welcome those couples into the Sterling Imageworks Photography family!

Sign-up link will be live this weekend & sessions will be held in April (possibly looking at adding a March date).

We won’t be doing these again until the fall. If you don’t want to wait until the fall for Christmas card pics, get ahead of the game and take them now while everything is pretty (will be soon, anyway) and in bloom! We can’t wait to see all of our regulars & even new clients!

I was going to post a picture ‘perfect’ version of this, but this one was way more fun & genuine. I love these kiddos. I can’t believe Benjamin was one of my earliest births to photograph in 2017. Fast forward almost 5 years (in June) & here we are & he’s such a big guy now; holding his newborn brother. & can’t forget little sis, Lucy, who gave the Hornbeck family everything they didn’t know they were missing when she arrived just a few years later. Photographing Oliver’s newborns this year, was such a special session. In 2017 I literally watched (captured) the moment Abbey & Ben became parents, & now I am getting to photograph them in this stage (they’re pros, for real) of their parenting journey. I’m in awe of how they parent 3 kiddos & make it look so easy & natural, while keeping it real at the same time. It is so obvious their hearts are just so full & getting to preserve this moment for them & convey it through photographic storytelling, is so fulfilling to me as a photographer. So I leave you with a photo of some of the cutest kiddos around, being silly in this new season for their family.

Happy Valentine’s Day! We hope you get to spend the day with those that you love. Although it’s fun to be festive — it’s not about the perfect gift basket for your kids, the flowers, or the heart shaped waffles. It’s about the people you love & sharing moments with them. I have to remind myself of this sometimes 💕simply love your people, and love them well.
