Kaitlin + Nash | Great Gatsby Themed Wedding – Hot Springs, AR

Kaitlin and Nash got married this past October, near Halloween, and instead of a traditional Halloween themed wedding – they had something a little different in mind. Great Gatsby was a reoccurring theme from their day; from the bridesmaids dresses, accessories, and reception decor – everything looked like it was right out of the 1920s.

We loved that they had a unique element to their ceremony – the blessing of their rings by all in attendance. We have been photographing weddings since 2010 and we have never seen this done, and we loved it. The ceremony took place at Anthony Chapel in Garvan Gardens and we headed to The Arlington Hotel in downtown Hot Springs for their reception. The groom’s cake had a topper that Kaitlin handmade with modeling cay for his favorite band, the Grateful Dead. They danced the night away and departed with a sparkler exit. We loved capturing these sweet moments!

Kaitlin and John celebrated their wedding this summer in Conway at the Brick Room. We loved all the little unique details that they incorporated into their decor – especially the hanging lanterns! And those shoes, love love love! & I adore the pale yellow & navy that they went with for their color scheme! So excited to finally share this beautiful collection of images! I can’t tell you how relaxed these two seemed at their engagement session with one another. They were so at ease, which made my job so easy! I loved catching up with Tory and meeting Britt! Sometimes there are couples that you just click with instantly as a photographer and that definitely happened while I was shooting these two! Every single pose was perfect and they just made everything look so natural through my lens. Next July we will capture more of these two — on their WEDDING! It will be here before we know it! Lauren + Heath | Little Rock, AR Engagements

Over the past year I have really gotten to know Lauren well through Alpha Tau at UCA – she has served as their president for the last year & I am an alumni advisor, (AST is the sorority I was in while in college). While working so closely with her I have been given the opportunity to see her beautiful heart! She is kind, genuine and beautiful on the inside and out – I just love this girl and can’t imagine life without her now. I don’t know how I went so long without knowing her and calling her a friend. And Heath — although I officially met him at the session, I already love him too because Lauren does! We had so much fun taking these at Belgian Meadows Farm with their fur-baby and we even caught the sunset for some dreamy photos to end the day with. To say I am excited for their wedding next June is an understatement! Can’t wait you two!

Amanda + Zac | North Little Rock, AR Engagements

Amanda and I go way back – but we just didn’t really get the chance to know one another until Jaison and I became her and Zac’s wedding photographers! My dad and Amanda’s uncle have been in the same circle of best friends since high school. I have always grown up with Greg and my dad being friends – and apparently Amanda and I played together a few times when we were little, we just didn’t remember it. Since we have reunited – I can’t tell you how precious I think she is. So sweet and kind, I just love her! I am so glad that we get to experience this journey with her, capturing such special moments for her and Zac. These two are awesome – and I love Zac’s cool socks! 😉

Although it rained on us at the end – I would say this session was still amazing and so much fun! Cheers! We can’t wait to get to know you two even better over the next several months!

Lindsay + Justin | Little Rock, AR Engagements

We have known Justin since our early days of college & we could not think of someone who compliments him better than Lindsay! They were so comfortable with one anther during their shoot and I loved that they could be silly and didn’t take it too seriously – we had a lot of fun! And They have dogs, so that automatically made this shoot even better! We are so happy to capture their wedding next year! Congrats!!

Taylor + Alex | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Taylor and Alex tied the knot at the Castle on Stagecoach on October 1, 2016 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Taylor, a writer, who just finished grad school in New York City – knew she wanted to do a medieval themed wedding – complete with historic elements from medieval times.

Her bouquet was complete with a hilt as the “stems” — something only Tanarah Luxe Floral of Little Rock could execute. The florals were so extravagant – in colors that screamed royalty. The ceremony took place in front of a large hanging circular arrangement that made the perfect backdrop for their celebration. The bride entered the ceremony in a horse drawn carriage with her dad, it looked like a true fairytale.

The family crest hung above the custom dance floor that displayed the groom’s last name. The cake was beautifully handcrafted by Natalie Madison Artisan Cakes of Little Rock — the crest on the front was completely done by hand.

The invitations mimicked a vintage scroll invitation – complete with clipart of the castle.
The guest book had a vintage feel and resembled a storybook — the guests signed with a quill and a genuine bottle of ink.

The dress Taylor chose looked like a ballgown fit for a queen and Alex was charming in his navy tux. Everything was wonderful! Capturing this wedding was such a joy!

Eric + Kayla | Grayton Beach, Florida Wedding

Kayla and Eric have been dating for as long as I have known them — and that is quite a while! I met these two in eleventh grade and it makes my heart so happy to see these two married! Kayla has the sweetest personality & she looked simply stunning in her dress from Proposals in Little Rock.

The beach setting was so perfect for the ceremony; and the A-Typical beach house where they danced the night away with friends and family was a beautiful and so relaxing!

We couldn’t have been more thrilled to collaborate with an amazing team of vendors for this beach wedding! Anne Claire Allen did a fantastic job coordinating the day, putting together the florals and making sure everything was in perfect order for everyone! I can not say enough good things Anne Claire and her team! And our friends at Betwixt Magnolias couldn’t have captured her day any more perfectly than they did through videography. Savannah + Matt | Little Rock, AR Engagements

This is probably the most unique engagement session that we have ever done to date! When Savannah and Matt came to us with this idea – we were automatically in love. They are both tap dancers; and that is a major focus in their relationship. We love that they wanted tap to be the theme for their engagements!

We all agreed that Dreamland Ballroom in Little Rock would be a great setting for this dreamy session. Complete with the original paint and brick, this was absolutely THE perfect setting. They tapped away while we snapped — it was fun to see them in their natural element while we were in ours!

We are so thankful to know these two – we met Savannah at CrossFit, where she and her mom quickly became some of our favorite workout partners! We are still hopeful that Matt will join our CrossFit fam! (hint hint, Matt).

These tappers will tie the knot this coming April at the newly rennovated Robinson Center, and we couldn’t be more excited for them! Until then here are their engagements to tide you over!

Leslie + Steven | Conway, AR Engagements

Fall sessions are probably our favorite! Especially when they involve a couple as sweet as Steven and Leslie! Leslie went to school at UCA, where we met her through SOS (student orientation staff – which we take photos for every August and spend an entire week documenting their welcome week adventures at UCA) and we loved her automatically! And Steven, he is such an upstanding guy, and just awesome!

Basically we are totally crushing on this couple and we aren’t even afraid to admit it! Their outfits, that emerald green shirt with her hair — perfection! We can’t wait for their wedding next April in NWA! Love you both to the moon! <3

Autumn + Collin | Little Rock, AR Engagements

Today Autumn and Collin are tying the knot! So we thought today would be a perfect day to show off their engagement session from this summer! These two grew up together and it was so obvious how in love they were when I was clicking away! Collin was dying from the heat, poor guy, but he was such a trooper.

I just loved their hearts and has a blast hanging out with them! Today we are so excited that they chose Sterling Imageworks to capture their wedding in Roland, AR – we know it will be perfect!

Andddd, these two do CrossFit, so that pretty much won us over from the start! We are hoping they come workout with us soon! Congrats you two! So much love!

Oh my gosh – these two! JB and Carsyn’s fall session may have been warmer than a typical fall engagement session, but that didn’t stop them from looking absolutely adorable. JB and I went to college together; but I met Carsyn for the first time at this session, and I can totally see why she won JB’s heart – she is darling! I instantly clicked with her and it made me even that more excited for their wedding next summer! So excited for these two!

Kaylee + Dakota Weatherly | Roland, AR Wedding

Kaylee and Dokota’s wedding looked like something out of a southern wedding magazine! She looked like a princess and this was such a special week for her family! This doubled as the week that her niece was born, sweet Charlee made her arrival at the perfect time to take part in the wedding festivities! We got to do sweet Charlee’s newborn photos shortly after this day, getting the opportunity to work with this amazing family once again!

We couldn’t be more happy to have amazing clients live the Harrison & Weatherly families! I love how happy these two were to see one another during their first look — and Jaison captured it perfectly! Kelsey + Nelson Ingle | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Kelsey and Nelson’s day was so special and I am thrilled I was able to be a part of it! I remember meeting Kels at a coffee shop last year and instantly just loved her! She is so fun and someone I love to be around! I am so thankful that we have become friends after she chose Jaison and I as her wedding photographers – and I am so glad that she did choose us! This is a reason I love my job so much, making real connections with brides that often become my friends after their big day has come and gone. Maggie Ried + John Teed | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Maggie and John are some of my favorite clients, ever! Maggie was always sending me the sweetest notes and texts when we were in the pre-wedding phase and that girl always just makes my day! I love how these two have such genuine love for one another – and it shows.

I have loved working with them – they even did a Christmas shoot with me BEFORE they were engaged when they got their first puppy, Zeus! Tara Anglin + Daniel Wright | Hot Springs, AR Wedding

Tara and Daniel – oh my gosh THIS DAY! It was even more beautiful looking back than I remembered. I remember thinking as I was shooting this – everything is going so well and how beautiful everything was.

From both getting ready locations – to the ceremony location at the Hamp Williams Building in Hot Springs, everything looked like it was straight out of a magazine!

& These two are gorgeous right?! And I don’t think I am being biased here (Tara is my big from our sorority in college, a dear friend of mine, and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding, XO!) But really, everything was so amazing for their May wedding. I shouldn’t be surprised though, everything Tara does is so well thought out and planned, there was no way it couldn’t have been gorgeous! Margo + Christian Biggs | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Margo and Christian are two of the kindest and cutest people ever, y’all! They were the most laid back couple and we loved every second that we got to work with them. Christian is in the military and I loved that Margo wanted to carry the American theme throughout their wedding photos. We incorporated the flag into their engagements, her bridals and even their sweet wedding day (check out this EXIT, swooooon – it was perfect!

Their wedding took place at a beautiful church in Little Rock and their reception was held in downtown Little Rock at the Albert Pike Hotel. It was our first time to take photos at Albert Pike and we really loved the elegance of this historic building. Check out their sweet day!

I didn’t forget about this session–it is one of my favorites! I am FINALLY catching up on blogging and getting to share some fall engagements! I took these last fall on Julie’s grandfather’s land in Salus, AR – which is located in the Ozark National Forest. We had a great time exploring and we even recreated a few poses of JFK and Jackie Kennedy! I loved that Julie loves black and white photos just as much as we do – so we made sure to give her a good variety of beautiful black and white choices! We have so much love for these two! Payne Harding & Leah Yeager | Little Rock, AR Engagements

When I met with Leah I just loved her! We shot their engagement party back in April and we got to meet all of their friends and family while they celebrated their engagement. She and Payne met when she was working at Cache’ in the River Market. He is the Chef there, and I loved when Leah had the idea to do a few of their photos in the garden on the Harding family farm. We wanted to incorporate a unique element to their photos – and I think that was the perfect touch. The farm was the perfect setting; beautiful greenery, a cute wooden fence, a lake, a dock, and even a precious chapel that we used in the background for a few photos – we were in photographer Heaven with all of the options.

Afterwards we went to an overlook in Little Rock to shoot some images with the city in the background, I am in love with the shots with the Little Rock skyline. This was an early morning session but they didn’t let the early day stop them from rocking each pose and having fun. We love this couple & we can’t wait to capture their wedding day next April! Congrats you two!
