We have had more and more high school sweethearts lately and I think that is so sweet! Hannah and Craig have been dating since high school and this winter they will tie the knot officially! They’ll be getting married at St. Joseph in Conway; so it was only fitting to do their engagements in Conway. We had such a great time shoot these for this amazing couple! Can’t wait to work with them throughout their wedding journey!

Watching Mallory and Colton’s relationship grow has been one of my favorite things. I literally love these two – and I love them together. They are literally the same person – just the male and female version of one another. They are sweet, kind, quirky, hilarious, cute, and two of the most genuine people you will ever meet. They are hands down one of my favorite couples; that double as great friends to Jaison and I.
We met them at UCA and I have always thought of Mallory as a little sister. She was in my sorority and she was Jenny’s (my roommate in college) “little” in AST. I loved Mal since I met her, I remember the first time I met her to be exact. Jenny asked if I wanted to go meet her new little in her dorm-room, and of course I said yes. I wanted to meet our sweet new AST from Texas!
Mallory was actually in a wheelchair at the time — she had been in a really bad car accident but still was as cute as a button! Fast forward through college and I got to know her even better through our time at UCA.
 Then after college, their best friends – Kim and Chris Diaz (who we also love to the moon) got married and all three of us couples got to bond a little further through that experience of the Diaz wedding & wedding planning.
When Mallory called and said she wanted us to be her and Colton’s wedding photographers, it was such an exciting day and I couldn’t have been more excited to work with these two! I am so thankful for friends like these two who have supported us every step of the way in our journey with Sterling Imageworks. They have watched our company grow almost the entire time we have been in business. With that being said, we thought it was only fitting to start the session where it all began — UCA. And we ended in downtown Conway with more of a formal look.

Spring is the perfect time for blogging all of our pretty brides from 2016 – and Veronica is one we have been so excited to show off! I had so much fun with her and her mom during her bridals in Little Rock. She and Kyle celebrated their big day in Conway last fall and we have been loving all of her posts about married life and how happy they are! <3 So thrilled to bring this session to the blog today! Happy Friday!

Kaitlin and Nash got married this past October, near Halloween, and instead of a traditional Halloween themed wedding – they had something a little different in mind. Great Gatsby was a reoccurring theme from their day; from the bridesmaids dresses, accessories, and reception decor – everything looked like it was right out of the 1920s.
We loved that they had a unique element to their ceremony – the blessing of their rings by all in attendance. We have been photographing weddings since 2010 and we have never seen this done, and we loved it. The ceremony took place at Anthony Chapel in Garvan Gardens and we headed to The Arlington Hotel in downtown Hot Springs for their reception. The groom’s cake had a topper that Kaitlin handmade with modeling cay for his favorite band, the Grateful Dead. They danced the night away and departed with a sparkler exit. We loved capturing these sweet moments!

On this snowy afternoon I am wishing we could go back to where we had pretty summer blooms in season and warm weather! However, this session is a bit misleading because — it was actually raining as I snapped Amanda’s bridal portraits. The Terry House was the perfect spot for us to stay dry but still get that beautiful greenery and natural light in the photographs! I love that it is not even noticeable that it was a little less than perfect weather for these – and I think they still turned out stunning! Of course Amanda is so easy to photograph! So today I will just stay inside in my cozy house dreaming of these beautiful blooms while I sip hot chocolate – yum! Excited to share these! <3

Courtney and Michael celebrated an incredibly special day yesterday – their wedding! That means today I can release these images out into the world, and I couldn’t be more excited to share! The lighting was so dreamy on this early November day; since the seasons changed so late this year – it still looked a lot like summer! I am absolutely in love with her dress – so classic and her veil was the perfect touch! Love love love everything about this session! <3

Sydney and Matt celebrated their wedding day on September 10th and it was simply gorgeous! Sydney is so easy to photograph & we had so much fun hanging out with her and family while we photographed her bridals. Tanarah Luxe Floral’s touch with her bouquet was amazing as always! & Sydney’s family farm was the perfect setting! Wedding photos from her special day with Matt are  coming soon!

I can’t tell you how relaxed these two seemed at their engagement session with one another. They were so at ease, which made my job so easy! I loved catching up with Tory and meeting Britt! Sometimes there are couples that you just click with instantly as a photographer and that definitely happened while I was shooting these two! Every single pose was perfect and they just made everything look so natural through my lens. Next July we will capture more of these two — on their WEDDING! It will be here before we know it! Congrats you two! <3

Amanda and I go way back – but we just didn’t really get the chance to know one another until Jaison and I became her and Zac’s wedding photographers! My dad and Amanda’s uncle have been in the same circle of best friends since high school. I have always grown up with Greg and my dad being friends – and apparently Amanda and I played together a few times when we were little, we just didn’t remember it. Since we have reunited – I can’t tell you how precious I think she is. So sweet and kind, I just love her! I am so glad that we get to experience this journey with her, capturing such special moments for her and Zac. These two are awesome – and I love Zac’s cool socks! 😉
Although it rained on us at the end – I would say this session was still amazing and so much fun! Cheers! We can’t wait to get to know you two even better over the next several months!

As I was going through my list of things to blog, it blew my mind that I had not blogged these yet! Margo was such a dream to work with! I have said it once, and I will keep saying how thankful I am to have worked with her. And she is such a stunning little thing with a contagious smile, you can’t help but just love her! These are long overdue, but I was blessed with some free time before today’s wedding to catch up on some blogging! We have so much to share – and this winter it is my goal to catch up on sharing our beautiful clients  with the world! <3

DeAnna + Vince are celebrating their wedding day today! DeAnna and I went to high school together, and were on the same dance team. I have know her for a very long time & I could not be more happy that she has found Vince. They are a perfect match! I can’t wait to celebrate with them today at Noah’s in Little Rock! Here are a few of their engagement photos to start our day off on the blog celebrating this precious couple!

This month we found ourselves in Memphis photographing this gorgeous couple. The Memphis Botanic Gardens gave us a perfectly green backdrop for their stunning session. We laughed together and learned about Lizzy and Matt and their time spent at UT. Turns out they both grew up in Memphis, attended UT in Knoxville, & then met after college (despite attending the same college at the same time). It was the best day!
We could shoot at the gardens every single day and not get bored. Congrats you two – we will see you next year on your BIG DAY!

Haley did such an amazing job at her bridals – I had to stay up late tonight after her wedding to blog them because I. could. not. wait. — & Can you blame me?! Her session was just a few weeks ago, but it seems like forever that I have been hiding these from the world and tonight – I finally get to share! I loved collaborating with Haley’s florist of choice — Anna Rogers of Magnolia Belle! Her bouquet was stunning, almost as stunning at Haley!
And her beautiful dress from the Bridal Cottage in North Little was so unique and perfect for this blushing bride-to-be! Cassie Vick Richards did a flawless job on her hair & make-up and she is very near and dear to us, she is one of our former brides! Â This was such a great day & we can’t thank Haley enough for being such an amazing client! Lots of love for this girl!

When the Bridal Cottage of North Little Rock approached us about doing a styled shoot  showcasing five of their beautiful brides, we couldn’t say no. We were thrilled to photograph their vision and help it come to life! The owner, Lindy, envisioned a sisterhood theme; which we LOVE! It was so unique and fun and just a great time spending the evening with all of these incredible women! Wicked salon jumped on board with their amazing talents for hair and makeup; and we couldn’t have done the shoot without the beautiful florals from Tipton & Hurst. The Terry House in Little Rock was the perfect setting for our classic look with a little floral flare. Everything was perfect! We can’t say enough good things about each of the vendors that participated – you were all such a joy to work with — thank you! Check out these bridal beauties!

Kaylee and Dokota’s wedding looked like something out of a southern wedding magazine! She looked like a princess and this was such a special week for her family! This doubled as the week that her niece was born, sweet Charlee made her arrival at the perfect time to take part in the wedding festivities! We got to do sweet Charlee’s newborn photos shortly after this day, getting the opportunity to work with this amazing family once again!
We couldn’t be more happy to have amazing clients live the Harrison & Weatherly families! I love how happy these two were to see one another during their first look — and Jaison captured it perfectly! Check out all of her gorgeous wedding attendants, the bridesmaids dresses are some of my favorites of all time & that color scheme was amazing with the florals! Another favorite thing of ours from this wedding was the CAKE! The cake is a gorgeous strawberry naked cake and it photographed so well! We didn’t know Amanda and Hayden before booking their wedding but we fell so in love with their personalities along the way. The way they laugh with one another is so touching to watch – you can see exactly what I am talking about in their first look photos; their reactions during the first look are something else!
Amanda is a planner by nature and I knew everything she touched regarding her wedding would turn to gold, everything was so autiful! From her makeup, to her florals – this wedding and the bride were both gorgeous! And their families – we LOVED their families, they made us feel so appreciated and we can’t thank them enough for that. Check out their June wedding! We are in love!

Kelsey and Nelson’s day was so special and I am thrilled I was able to be a part of it! I remember meeting Kels at a coffee shop last year and instantly just loved her! She is so fun and someone I love to be around! I am so thankful that we have become friends after she chose Jaison and I as her wedding photographers – and I am so glad that she did choose us! This is a reason I love my job so much, making real connections with brides that often become my friends after their big day has come and gone. I love that we often have weekly dates to go eat dinner with one another and couldn’t be more thankful for a bride like this special lady! Â I loved capturing every second of this day !

Maggie and John are some of my favorite clients, ever! Maggie was always sending me the sweetest notes and texts when we were in the pre-wedding phase and that girl always just makes my day! I love how these two have such genuine love for one another – and it shows.
I have loved working with them – they even did a Christmas shoot with me BEFORE they were engaged when they got their first puppy, Zeus! I know that we will be photographing these two for years to come (I know because Maggie told me in a sweet note she wrote me!) And that makes me SO EXCITED! I love these two and I am so happy I am able to show them off on the blog this evening!

Tara and Daniel – oh my gosh THIS DAY! It was even more beautiful looking back than I remembered. I remember thinking as I was shooting this – everything is going so well and how beautiful everything was.
From both getting ready locations – to the ceremony location at the Hamp Williams Building in Hot Springs, everything looked like it was straight  out of a magazine!
& These two are gorgeous right?! And I don’t think I am being biased here (Tara is my big from our sorority in college, a dear friend of mine, and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding, XO!) But really, everything was so amazing for their May wedding. I shouldn’t be surprised though, everything Tara does is so well thought out and planned, there was no way it couldn’t have been gorgeous!  SO excited to share these images from their big day! Enjoy!
