Taylor and Barrett are parents to one adorable little girl, little Lyla. We loved doing a lifestyle newborn session for them a few months ago! We have done many newborn sessions in the past but we realized we haven’t really blogged any! & that is something we are going to change! As animal lovers, we were over the moon that they wanted to include their fourth family member in some of these – their sweet pup, Boo. & We completely fell in love with this little family even more while taking these pictures. We have gotten to work with Taylor through the bridal fair for several years now, but we loved getting to hang out with her whole family this time. So here is a glimpse at their sweet session, we are so excited to feature the Reynolds family on the blog today! <3

Amanda Conn | Little Rock, AR Bridals

On this snowy afternoon I am wishing we could go back to where we had pretty summer blooms in season and warm weather! However, this session is a bit misleading because — it was actually raining as I snapped Amanda’s bridal portraits. The Terry House was the perfect spot for us to stay dry but still get that beautiful greenery and natural light in the photographs! I love that it is not even noticeable that it was a little less than perfect weather for these – and I think they still turned out stunning! Of course Amanda is so easy to photograph! So today I will just stay inside in my cozy house dreaming of these beautiful blooms while I sip hot chocolate – yum! Excited to share these! <3

The Perkins Family | Little Rock, AR Family

We’ve already done another session for Tonya & Shea after this one but this 2016 family session was too cute not to blog (where did the time go)?! We have so many sessions I want to blog, and although I try – it is so hard to blog them all when you’re out shooting and then editing! But today I bring you one of my favorite little families!

This family has my heart – we have taken their photos more times than I can count & each time, it is a joy. I love getting to watch their boys grow throughout our sessions with them. From their wedding day, to maternity shoots, newborns, 6 months shoots and year-old shoots for both little men — we always have so much fun together.

This particular session was Oli’s 6 month session combined with a family session! So excited to finally share! We love you four cuties!

The Thompson | Little Rock, AR Family

We had the pleasure of taking the Thompson’s family photos twice in 2016 and we loved working with them both times!

Sam has the CUTEST personality ever! I seriously love her! For this session they brought their new puppy – Winnie! If anyone knows me, they know I love love love dogs – so it was so fun for me to photograph their sweet new fur-baby. Winnie quickly became the star of the show – everyone passing by wanted to pet her and love on her, even Sam. You can see Sam’s sweet personality shining through in the photos below where she and Winnie are playing, those are some of my favorites from this day. Sam would run and play, Winnie would follow – a girl and her dog <3

They also had another bit of exciting news during their session – they’re expecting baby #2! I loved the announcement idea they had – so cute!

Congratulations, friends! I loved every minute of capturing these for you!

Haley Palanca + Daniel Hopkins | Paron, Arkansas

Haley and Daniel tied the knot on October 28, 2016 at Cold Springs in Paron, Arkansas. Sitting on 100 acres near Little Rock, Cold Springs is a relatively new wedding venue, less than two years old.

I loved working with this couple, I can not say that enough. They both have the such easy-going beautiful personalities! They are just gorgeous on the inside and out!

The Hopkins said “I do” at an outdoor ceremony by the lake, with florals with rich colors and greenery – Anna Rogers of Magnolia Belle Floral truly made their southern vision come to life with beautiful arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres. Their flower girls wore navy blue dresses, which matched the groomsmen and the ring bearer looked so cute in his suspenders!

As you entered into their reception – canvases over 5 feet tall hung on both sides of the entry-way. & Their pizza bar was a huge hit with guests (and their vendors)! Their cake was beautiful and served as one of the main focal point of the room.

We ended the night with a beautiful sparkler exit! I could look at these images forever — cheers to officially blogging our first wedding this year!

Katie + Brad | Little Rock, AR Engagements

Katie and Brad are such a fun couple! I play bunco with Katie and I was over the moon when she chose us to photograph their wedding! We did a two-part session for this sweet e-session; starting at the Arkansas Travelers stadium in North Little Rock (where Brad works as the Controller for the Travs).We got some adorable shots of these two – dressed in their Travs attire. (Notice the scoreboard has their names on it – how cool is that?!)

We then took a short trip across the river to finish the remainder of their session at the Terry House & outside of the Arkansas State Capitol. We are so excited to celebrate with them in March!

Ps- their session was chosen at Arkansas Bride’s “Best of 2016” in the engagements category! So excited!

Tori and Dustin are some of my favorite people in the world. Dustin and I have been friends most of our lives and I loved Tori from the moment I met her! I was thrilled to capture this special moment in their lives. I thought we were just doing a mini session and they surprised me with this announcement! Kelsey and Nelson tied the knot in April and we were there to capture their wedding journey every step of the way. When Kels wanted fall pictures of course I was so excited! This is a bride that has become one of my dearest friends and she is just one of those people you know God placed in your life on purpose. I mean, for two people who love our dogs as much as Kelsey and I do; we were destined to be friends! Nelson, Teddy and Kelsey are the cutest new little family and I am so proud to take their first set of Christmas card photos as a married couple! Love you all!

Amanda and I go way back – but we just didn’t really get the chance to know one another until Jaison and I became her and Zac’s wedding photographers! My dad and Amanda’s uncle have been in the same circle of best friends since high school. I have always grown up with Greg and my dad being friends – and apparently Amanda and I played together a few times when we were little, we just didn’t remember it. Since we have reunited – I can’t tell you how precious I think she is. So sweet and kind, I just love her! I am so glad that we get to experience this journey with her, capturing such special moments for her and Zac. These two are awesome – and I love Zac’s cool socks! 😉

Although it rained on us at the end – I would say this session was still amazing and so much fun! Cheers! We can’t wait to get to know you two even better over the next several months!

Today Autumn and Collin are tying the knot! So we thought today would be a perfect day to show off their engagement session from this summer! These two grew up together and it was so obvious how in love they were when I was clicking away! Collin was dying from the heat, poor guy, but he was such a trooper.

I just loved their hearts and has a blast hanging out with them! Today we are so excited that they chose Sterling Imageworks to capture their wedding in Roland, AR – we know it will be perfect!

Andddd, these two do CrossFit, so that pretty much won us over from the start! We are hoping they come workout with us soon! Congrats you two! So much love!

Styled Shoot | Sisterhood

When the Bridal Cottage of North Little Rock approached us about doing a styled shoot showcasing five of their beautiful brides, we couldn’t say no. We were thrilled to photograph their vision and help it come to life! The owner, Lindy, envisioned a sisterhood theme; which we LOVE! It was so unique and fun and just a great time spending the evening with all of these incredible women! Wicked salon jumped on board with their amazing talents for hair and makeup; and we couldn’t have done the shoot without the beautiful florals from Tipton & Hurst. The Terry House in Little Rock was the perfect setting for our classic look with a little floral flare. Everything was perfect! Kaylee and Dokota’s wedding looked like something out of a southern wedding magazine! She looked like a princess and this was such a special week for her family! This doubled as the week that her niece was born, sweet Charlee made her arrival at the perfect time to take part in the wedding festivities! We got to do sweet Charlee’s newborn photos shortly after this day, getting the opportunity to work with this amazing family once again!

We couldn’t be more happy to have amazing clients live the Harrison & Weatherly families! I love how happy these two were to see one another during their first look — and Jaison captured it perfectly! We didn’t know Amanda and Hayden before booking their wedding but we fell so in love with their personalities along the way. The way they laugh with one another is so touching to watch – you can see exactly what I am talking about in their first look photos; their reactions during the first look are something else!

Amanda is a planner by nature and I knew everything she touched regarding her wedding would turn to gold, everything was so autiful! From her makeup, to her florals – this wedding and the bride were both gorgeous! Maggie Ried + John Teed | Little Rock, AR Wedding

Maggie and John are some of my favorite clients, ever! Maggie was always sending me the sweetest notes and texts when we were in the pre-wedding phase and that girl always just makes my day! I love how these two have such genuine love for one another – and it shows.

I have loved working with them – they even did a Christmas shoot with me BEFORE they were engaged when they got their first puppy, Zeus! Tara Anglin + Daniel Wright | Hot Springs, AR Wedding

Tara and Daniel – oh my gosh THIS DAY! It was even more beautiful looking back than I remembered. I remember thinking as I was shooting this – everything is going so well and how beautiful everything was.

From both getting ready locations – to the ceremony location at the Hamp Williams Building in Hot Springs, everything looked like it was straight out of a magazine!

& These two are gorgeous right?! And I don’t think I am being biased here (Tara is my big from our sorority in college, a dear friend of mine, and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding, XO!) But really, everything was so amazing for their May wedding. I shouldn’t be surprised though, everything Tara does is so well thought out and planned, there was no way it couldn’t have been gorgeous! I know, I know….I say it A LOT — but, I think THESE little photos are up there with my favorite photos of all time. Sayre is STUNNING, right?! And the venue at Marlsgate was pretty amazing. To top it off her bouquet, hair and makeup were perfect. The only drawback was the swarm of misquotes — but hey, we can live with that in exchange for this amazing session! Sayre and Trevor were married last Friday and we could’t wait to get this gorgeous girl up on our blog! I love that Greek Life and SOS at UCA brought us together. Braden Vaughn & Julie Paladino | Salus, AR Engagements

I didn’t forget about this session–it is one of my favorites! I am FINALLY catching up on blogging and getting to share some fall engagements! I took these last fall on Julie’s grandfather’s land in Salus, AR – which is located in the Ozark National Forest. We had a great time exploring and we even recreated a few poses of JFK and Jackie Kennedy! I loved that Julie loves black and white photos just as much as we do – so we made sure to give her a good variety of beautiful black and white choices! We have so much love for these two!
