We have had more and more high school sweethearts lately and I think that is so sweet! Hannah and Craig have been dating since high school and this winter they will tie the knot officially! They’ll be getting married at St. Joseph in Conway; so it was only fitting to do their engagements in Conway. We had such a great time shoot these for this amazing couple! Can’t wait to work with them throughout their wedding journey!

To say I am obsessed with Olivia’s bridals is an understatement! She was so fun to work with and so laid-back! When a bride trusts us whole heartedly throughout the shoot, it shows, and I think we always do our best work when we can have fun and be creative — and she let us do exactly that! We had the best time; and this beautiful bride was the perfect subject! Her dress looked like it was made just for her! And her gorgeous bouquet was the perfect pop of spring colors! She recently celebrated her wedding to Jacob in California, and we were honored that she asked us to do her bridals for her before she left for her gorgeous west coast wedding! <3 So thrilled with how these turned out and we are excited to share them with you!

Spring is the perfect time for blogging all of our pretty brides from 2016 – and Veronica is one we have been so excited to show off! I had so much fun with her and her mom during her bridals in Little Rock. She and Kyle celebrated their big day in Conway last fall and we have been loving all of her posts about married life and how happy they are! <3 So thrilled to bring this session to the blog today! It was so special for me to get to photograph these bridals – this is my sweet cousin Taylor. Although I have known her most of my life and all of hers; & we completely reconnected throughout her wedding planning experience. & I am so in love with her bridal session! The lighting was so dreamy coming through the pecan orchard and the weather was nearly perfect. So glad I am finally able to sit down and share this beautiful bride’s portraits with the world. I had the privilege of photographing engagements for Mary and Chase last week and y’all – Â it was the windiest session I can ever recall doing. BUT, despite the crazy wind – I am so in love with these! There were large periods of time where we just huddled together and had to wait it out – not even kidding. They both were patient, so understanding, and we stuck it out and I am so glad we did; because I think we got some amazing shots!
I genuinely enjoyed catching up with Mary. I hadn’t seen her since we graduated from UCA and I loved getting to see her & finally meet Chase! These are moments that I am so glad that Jaison and I chose UCA as our university. No matter how long you go without seeing other UCA Alum. – it is always so easy to pick right back up where you left off.
And last but not least – can we talk about her cute outfits?! I love the green dress sh chose, it was such a good complimentary color for her skin tone and hair! AND, she is just DARLING overall and has such a beautiful smile! Basically, I just think Mary is adorable! Â And I know the wind was not in her favor but that hair is still so so gorgeous! I am over the moon excited to share these and I can’t wait until their wedding later this year – I know it will be such a fun time working with these two along the way!

Kaitlin and Nash got married this past October, near Halloween, and instead of a traditional Halloween themed wedding – they had something a little different in mind. Great Gatsby was a reoccurring theme from their day; from the bridesmaids dresses, accessories, and reception decor – everything looked like it was right out of the 1920s.
We loved that they had a unique element to their ceremony – the blessing of their rings by all in attendance. We have been photographing weddings since 2010 and we have never seen this done, and we loved it. The ceremony took place at Anthony Chapel in Garvan Gardens and we headed to The Arlington Hotel in downtown Hot Springs for their reception. The groom’s cake had a topper that Kaitlin handmade with modeling cay for his favorite band, the Grateful Dead. They danced the night away and departed with a sparkler exit. We loved capturing these sweet moments!

On this snowy afternoon I am wishing we could go back to where we had pretty summer blooms in season and warm weather! However, this session is a bit misleading because — it was actually raining as I snapped Amanda’s bridal portraits. The Terry House was the perfect spot for us to stay dry but still get that beautiful greenery and natural light in the photographs! I love that it is not even noticeable that it was a little less than perfect weather for these – and I think they still turned out stunning! Of course Amanda is so easy to photograph! So today I will just stay inside in my cozy house dreaming of these beautiful blooms while I sip hot chocolate – yum! Excited to share these! <3

We’ve already done another session for Tonya & Shea after this one but this 2016 family session was too cute not to blog (where did the time go)?! We have so many sessions I want to blog, and although I try – it is so hard to blog them all when you’re out shooting and then editing! But today I bring you one of my favorite little families!
This family has my heart – we have taken their photos more times than I can count & each time, it is a joy. I love getting to watch their boys grow throughout our sessions with them. From their wedding day, to maternity shoots, newborns, 6 months shoots and year-old shoots for both little men — we always have so much fun together.
This particular session was Oli’s 6 month session combined with a family session! So excited to finally share! We love you four cuties!

We had the pleasure of taking the Thompson’s family photos twice in 2016 and we loved working with them both times!
Sam has the CUTEST personality ever! I seriously love her! For this session they brought their new puppy – Winnie! If anyone knows me, they know I love love love dogs – so it was so fun for me to photograph their sweet new fur-baby. Winnie quickly became  the star of the show – everyone passing by wanted to pet her and love on her, even Sam. You can see Sam’s sweet personality shining through in the photos below where she and Winnie are playing, those are some of my favorites from this day. Sam would run and play, Winnie would follow – a girl and her dog <3
They also had another bit of exciting news during their session – they’re expecting baby #2! I loved the announcement idea they had – so cute!

Kimber is such a sweetheart! During her session she was so comfortable in front of the camera and made my job so easy! She was an absolute joy to work with!
She and I both attended UCA and we were in the same sorority – Alpha Sigma Tau. I have enjoyed getting to know her over the years! And I’m so proud of her as she begins the professional phase of her life! Congratulations on your December graduation from UCA, Kimber!

Katie and Brad are such a fun couple! I play bunco with Katie and I was over the moon when she chose us to photograph their wedding! We did a two-part session for this sweet e-session; starting at the Arkansas Travelers stadium in North Little Rock (where Brad works as the Controller for the Travs).We got some adorable shots of these two – dressed in their Travs attire. (Notice the scoreboard has their names on it – how cool is that?!)
We then took a short trip across the river to finish the remainder of their session at the Terry House & outside of the Arkansas State Capitol. We are so excited to celebrate with them in March!
Ps- their session was chosen at Arkansas Bride’s “Best of 2016” in the engagements category! So excited!

2016 has been a fantastic year for us at Sterling Imageworks! We have had 53 wonderful weddings this year & we have been so blessed to get to know each of our clients. Sometimes vendors get together and plan a little something of our own – our own design and our own creativity get to run wild and that is when the real magic happens! Anna and I wanted to do a holiday styled shoot – no models (besides Anna in her cute hat posing for a few — love), just florals, pretty design and colorful tablescapes for days. We wanted to incorporate Thanksgiving as well as Christmas and even a little winter look. We just had a blast; laughing, setting up the tables and even munching on the delicious cookies!
I love how this all came together in the photographs & here is a little snippet of photographing things we love – the details!

Just a few short days ago this sweet girl graduated from The University of Central Arkansas. Emily is one of my sorority sisters and I loved taking these photos for her, it was fun and we just chatted in between poses – and I love the way they turned out! Tori and Dustin are some of my favorite people in the world. Dustin and I have been friends most of our lives and I loved Tori from the moment I met her! I was thrilled to capture this special moment in their lives. I thought we were just doing a mini session and they surprised me with this announcement! The fall leaves were so beautiful and were in full bloom while we captured this sweet moment. Love you two!

Courtney and Michael celebrated an incredibly special day yesterday – their wedding! That means today I can release these images out into the world, and I couldn’t be more excited to share! The lighting was so dreamy on this early November day; since the seasons changed so late this year – it still looked a lot like summer! I am absolutely in love with her dress – so classic and her veil was the perfect touch! Love love love everything about this session! <3

Sydney and Matt celebrated their wedding day on September 10th and it was simply gorgeous! Sydney is so easy to photograph & we had so much fun hanging out with her and family while we photographed her bridals. Tanarah Luxe Floral’s touch with her bouquet was amazing as always! & Sydney’s family farm was the perfect setting! Wedding photos from her special day with Matt are  coming soon!

This family completely has my heart. Anna and I became friends through the wedding industry and we haven’t looked back since. She has a heart of gold. Sometimes you just find people that automatically become ‘your person’ and she is one of those people for me. I feel like we have been friends forever. I couldn’t imagine life without this girl and taking her family photos was such a fun shoot! Her and Caleb seriously have the kiddo! I love baby Everett too the moon – he makes the cutest little faces ever! Check out their session below!

Kaitlin and John celebrated their wedding this summer in Conway at the Brick Room. We loved all the little unique details that they incorporated into their decor – especially the hanging lanterns! And those shoes, love love love! & I adore the pale yellow & navy that they went with for their color scheme! Kelsey and Nelson tied the knot in April and we were there to capture their wedding journey every step of the way. When Kels wanted fall pictures of course I was so excited! This is a bride that has become one of my dearest friends and she is just one of those people you know God placed in your life on purpose. I mean, for two people who love our dogs as much as Kelsey and I do; we were destined to be friends! Nelson, Teddy and Kelsey are the cutest new little family and I am so proud to take their first set of Christmas card photos as a married couple! Love you all!
