Summer Styled Shoot | Jamestown Ranch, Arkansas

Happy Sunday! When we get to collaborate with other vendors, it is our favorite thing! This team was so great; we highly recommend each and every one of them. We got together and created a styled shoot with Rebecca and Jacob, one of our favorite couples! They got married in 2015 and it was so much fun to photograph them again.

Our theme was simple, southern and natural with a touch of boho chic. The dress that the bridal cottage let us use was absolutely gorgeous and Rebecca looked so amazing in it! Sending big hugs to all that collaborated on this shoot with us! Anna Roger’s floral design really came to life and we have received so many compliments on our photos from this set that have included “oh my gosh look at those flowers!” They truly were breathtaking.

Hayley couldn’t have done a better job on Rebecca’s hair and makeup and she is one of my favorite people to work with – this girl is so much fun! Julie’s cake was amazing (as always)! And Finally – last but not least Paul with Sunflower films and the video he created! It was a little odd for Jaison and I to be the IN the shots for a change, but so much fun! We love the way the final product turned out. Brides – if you are considering having a videographer and you’re on the fence — do it! Cut the costs somewhere else (like your alcohol budget) — it will be worth it and you’ll be so happy you did, I promise. Check out the video here! Cheers to an amazing team!

Brianna Schluterman | North Little Rock, AR Bridals

Brianna and Brandon celebrated their wedding yesterday in Subiaco and I have been patiently waiting for their wedding so I could blog her bridals! And here they are! I am thrilled to showcase these today for all of you to see. She is stunning, y’all! And SO incredibly sweet! She also has THE COOLEST HAIR! Her gorgeous highlights are everything – so in love!

We did the order of her sessions a little different, we shot these before her engagements, (a first for us) just because that is how our schedules lined up. So needless to say, this was our first time to photograph her ever; and it left me so excited for her engagements, which I also love!

Her mother’s vintage gown was a classic vintage touch that added a little something extra to her bridal session. Something I am so glad she decided to do. <3

Kassi Bruich Caldwell | Little Rock, AR Bridals

This month Kassi and Matt are celebrating their anniversary so we wanted to do a little throwback blog post to her bridal session – a session we have wanted to share for a long time but we have been playing catch-up on our blog! We truly have had so many sessions in the last year; I don’t say that to brag in any way – I just want to explain why we can not blog every single session – but we sure try to share as many as we can!

This is one session that I just couldn’t let slip through the cracks! Kassi was a beautiful bride and even more beautiful on the inside – my favorite kind of person. We have remained friends after wedding planning resumed for her, and I am so excited to coincidentally photograph a family session for her tomorrow! I also loved that Kas wore her mom’s wedding dress in a few photos at her bridal session and at her reception – it was completely redone to make a fun short reception dress while retaining some of the sweet vintage details! Love this girl and this session!

Tanarah Luxe Floral did a fabulous job (as always) on her bridal and wedding day bouquets!

Shelby and Lane are getting married later this summer and we know based off their engagement session that their wedding will be one for the books! We started their session at the Clinton Library downtown, where their reception will be! And when they brought their Dachshund, Bronx! He was the sweetest little guy ever and cracked me up with his posing! We were blessed with a pretty amazing sunset downtown overlooking the river to wrap up the day! – everything was so good! We are so excited to bring this beautiful Cold Springs wedding to the blog today! Sydney and Matt were a blast & anyone who serves ‘breakfast for dinner’ as their wedding reception food – is awesome in our book! We LOVED that they hung huge canvases up from their engagement session in the entryway to the reception – so fun and it was the first time we have seen canvases that big!

To say I am obsessed with Olivia’s bridals is an understatement! She was so fun to work with and so laid-back! When a bride trusts us whole heartedly throughout the shoot, it shows, and I think we always do our best work when we can have fun and be creative — and she let us do exactly that! We had the best time; and this beautiful bride was the perfect subject! Her dress looked like it was made just for her! And her gorgeous bouquet was the perfect pop of spring colors! On this snowy afternoon I am wishing we could go back to where we had pretty summer blooms in season and warm weather! However, this session is a bit misleading because — it was actually raining as I snapped Amanda’s bridal portraits. The Terry House was the perfect spot for us to stay dry but still get that beautiful greenery and natural light in the photographs! I love that it is not even noticeable that it was a little less than perfect weather for these – and I think they still turned out stunning! Of course Amanda is so easy to photograph! So today I will just stay inside in my cozy house dreaming of these beautiful blooms while I sip hot chocolate – yum! Excited to share these! <3

Haley Palanca + Daniel Hopkins | Paron, Arkansas

Haley and Daniel tied the knot on October 28, 2016 at Cold Springs in Paron, Arkansas. Sitting on 100 acres near Little Rock, Cold Springs is a relatively new wedding venue, less than two years old.

I loved working with this couple, I can not say that enough. They both have the such easy-going beautiful personalities! They are just gorgeous on the inside and out!

The Hopkins said “I do” at an outdoor ceremony by the lake, with florals with rich colors and greenery – Anna Rogers of Magnolia Belle Floral truly made their southern vision come to life with beautiful arrangements, bouquets and boutonnieres. Their flower girls wore navy blue dresses, which matched the groomsmen and the ring bearer looked so cute in his suspenders!

As you entered into their reception – canvases over 5 feet tall hung on both sides of the entry-way. & Their pizza bar was a huge hit with guests (and their vendors)! Their cake was beautiful and served as one of the main focal point of the room.

We ended the night with a beautiful sparkler exit! I could look at these images forever — cheers to officially blogging our first wedding this year!

Katie + Brad | Little Rock, AR Engagements

Katie and Brad are such a fun couple! I play bunco with Katie and I was over the moon when she chose us to photograph their wedding! We did a two-part session for this sweet e-session; starting at the Arkansas Travelers stadium in North Little Rock (where Brad works as the Controller for the Travs).We got some adorable shots of these two – dressed in their Travs attire. (Notice the scoreboard has their names on it – how cool is that?!)

We then took a short trip across the river to finish the remainder of their session at the Terry House & outside of the Arkansas State Capitol. We are so excited to celebrate with them in March!

Ps- their session was chosen at Arkansas Bride’s “Best of 2016” in the engagements category! So excited!

Holiday Styled Shoot | Conway, Arkansas

2016 has been a fantastic year for us at Sterling Imageworks! We have had 53 wonderful weddings this year & we have been so blessed to get to know each of our clients. Sometimes vendors get together and plan a little something of our own – our own design and our own creativity get to run wild and that is when the real magic happens! Anna and I wanted to do a holiday styled shoot – no models (besides Anna in her cute hat posing for a few — love), just florals, pretty design and colorful tablescapes for days. We wanted to incorporate Thanksgiving as well as Christmas and even a little winter look. We just had a blast; laughing, setting up the tables and even munching on the delicious cookies!

I love how this all came together in the photographs & here is a little snippet of photographing things we love – the details!

Paige + Matt | Bentonville Engagements

We decided to change up our scenery a bit and head to Northwest Arkansas for this sweet couple’s engagement session! Paige is from Conway and Matt is from Louisiana – and the two of them together couldn’t be more perfect. I asked them to share their love story with me so I can submit these photos to Arkansas Bride, and this is what Matt said:

>>>>>>>>>>Four years ago I met a girl who was out of my league. It wasn’t even a question. She had dark hair, deep brown eyes, and a kind heart (Yes, you can get that last part from just looking at her, I promise). She was way too good for me. I introduced myself and thought that would be the end of it, and it was, for the next two years at least.

She ended up moving to the same complex I lived in for my senior year of undergrad at the UofA. I hoped I would get achance to know her and at least be friends. In the back of my mind, I started hoping that someday I might even have a chance to date her, but I still thought those odds were slim to none. We had some overlaps in our friend groups and pretty soon I found myself gravitating towards her every chance I got. I didn’t realize I had feelings for her until the night she wore men’s sweatpants from Wal-Mart and trekked through the fresh snow with me to get a bite to eat, and I had the sudden awareness that there was no one I would rather be with. That feeling hasn’t left me.

Some time after that she realized she had the same feeling. That someday I was waiting for had finally arrived. I proposed to Paige this January, and I can’t wait to spend my life with her. So here’s to someday, and every day after that.<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Paige – you have one sweet finance. We love it when a GROOM isn’t afraid to show his true feelings out loud. My heart just melts looking back at these images! And I can’t tell you how much I adore Paige, she is has such a kind personality and I feel like I know her so well already.

I can’t wait for these two to get married – August can’t get here soon enough!

Molly + Clay Parker | Hot Springs Wedding

I usually don’t get so emotional when I write blog posts but this is a wedding that was very near and dear to my heart. Molly is one of the most genuine people I have ever met and I have 110% loved getting to capture her journey with Clay! I have known Molly since 2009 when we were ‘pledge buddies’ in Alpha Tau. I believe I mentioned this in a previous blog post, but every new member (pledge) gets a pledge buddy. Your PB is basically your partner for the pledging semester. I am fairly certain we were paired together because we were both redheads, good choice on our pledge mom’s part. I can say Molly and I got even closer our senior year when we were on the AST Executive board. I am forever thankful for that experience and our friendship.

When she got engaged I prayed we would do her wedding photography and I am SO thankful we got the opportunity. From engagements, bridals to the wedding day this has been an incredible experience. I am not sure I have ever had a bride TRUST us so much with her wedding photography. For that, I am eternally grateful and appreciative. Every step of the way, Molly was encouraging me and constantly telling me how she was so glad she didn’t have to worry about her photos and that she knew they would be perfect. I may be bias, but I think they certainly are PERFECT. Not because of their photographers though, but because this couple has a love so deep it radiates in everything they touch and everything they do. So this may be my longest blog post ever but I literally could not limit this loveliness to a certain number of photos. I didn’t include all the photos that we gave to her and Clay, but I did include over 200 of my favorites. I hope they also become your favorites. With much love I hope you enjoy! Lauren & Connor | Engagements

These two are precious in plaid! (Tried to be catchy there, ha!) Seriously though, Lauren and Connor are the sweetest! And oh so cute! I have loved working with them. I shot these while they are visiting for the holidays from Nashville, TN. I am so happy with how these turned out and hope you love as well!
