Vandiver & Watson Family | Little Rock Family Session

We love photographing the Watsons and Vandivers! We did Erica and Chase’s weddings a year and a half ago and since then we have done two more shoots! We love how much Goose, (their dog) has grown since our last session a year ago! This year’s session was much much warmer than last! Tim & Lesa, we love y’all too, of course! Little Lucy is as cute as ever!

The Henry Family | Conway, AR

Oh my gosh! This family is SOOO stinking’ cute! I can’t even contain it! Ha! I shot this sweet family session at Hendrix last week and it was so amazing! The weather at first glance was super nasty and felt like it could rain at any minute but it ended up being perfect for lighting. There were no bad shadows and no harsh light in anyone’s face. I did a mixture of a Christmas family session + Anna Kate’s 6 months photos! I finally got to use my cute cupcake and lollypop props! Enjoy this precious session!

p.s. – Little Cooper, thank you for being my assistant for the day and telling your mom how to stand/pose! He was the biggest help I could’ve ever asked for (and such a cutie!) Check out his funny faces, we had fun!

Tonya + Shea Perkins | Conway Wedding

Tony and Shea tied the knot in Conway on October 4th! I have known Tonya and Shea for over 7 years and I am so thankful for their friendship! Tonya was on dance team with me in high school at North Pulaski and everyone always thought we were sisters, and most of the time we didn’t even correct them! Ha! We were recently reunited when we sold our house in April. Tonya was our realtor and helped us sell our Conway home and buy our new house in NLR. She spent A LOT of time with us haha! We may have been picky and wanted to see 10 thousand houses. We have been photographing their most important moments for almost a year now! We started by taking their maternity photos, then we did some of Levi for his 6 months shoot, we have done some realtor headshot for her and team and now we are blogging their sweet wedding! We almost thought we weren’t going to be able to capture their big day due to another wedding conflicting that day but it all worked out perfectly! We can’t wait to shoot Levi’s birthday party in January! We hope you enjoy this sweet Conway wedding!

Tucker + Lillian | Little Rock Engagement

Tucker popped the questions on November 29th at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock. We were hidden away waiting to jump out with our cameras at any minute. He brought her upstairs to a bench by the Christmas tree to open her birthday gift, after a romantic dinner downstairs in the hotel restaurant. It was super exciting to capture one of the most important moments of their lives! Lillian had no idea what was coming! We wish these two the best and hope the wedding is everything you both hope for! Props to Tucker on such a sweet proposal!

The Rice Family | Little Rock Holiday Mini Session

We met Terri and Johnny and their kiddos through NLR basketball when Jay started taking basketball photos for the local newspaper, NLR Times. Coach Rice has been so great to Jaison. I know sports photography is Jaison’s favorite and we have has amazing support from the NLR high school staff and parents of the players. We are so glad we have had the opportunity to work with the basketball team and now taking The Rice’s family photos this holiday season. His wife, Terri is just as sweet and down-to-earth as she can be! We loved hanging out with their family during their mini session! They’re a super cute family! Enjoy!

The Wood Family | Little Rock Mini Session

I am thankful that I met Catherine through the UCA Young Alumni Association Board! Her little family is so so cute aren’t they?! Little Natalie smiled like a champ, even though I was certain we would be blown away by the crazy wind! There is only one word to describe this session, PRECIOUS! It was so hard to choose my favorites for this blog post, Natalie looked so sweet in all of them! Enjoy!

p.s. It is just a bonus that Catherine is one of my sorority sisters and I didn’t even know it until recently. I love that Alpha Tau is something I can share with so many incredible women! Feeling blessed!

Sam + Kyla | Miss White River Pageant Winners

This was the best shoot! It was chilly, but when you’re photographing two literal BEAUTY queens, your photos are destined to be beautiful. Sam is one of my sweet sorority sisters and also the winner of Miss White River. Kyla, was the winner of the Miss White River Teen Pageant. I was thrilled when Sam asked me to do their fun Christmas shoot! These two were so fun and very easy to work with. These girls are truly the entire package! Tony, Amy & Abi | Little Rock Family Session

I met Amy several years ago while working at the salon and I am so thankful that God placed her in my life. She has been such a mentor and friend to me inside and outside of work! We love taking their family photos and this year Abi had the prettiest dress! Abi has grown so much since she was the flower girl in our wedding a year and a half ago, it is amazing how time flies! She gets prettier and prettier with age. I enjoyed dropping off their photos at their house tonight and playing school with Abi, she is a hoot! And they even brought Allie, their sweet pup!

Matt Brown | North Little Rock Senior

Matt is the younger brother of our dear friend Allie. When Allie called us about doing Matt’s senior pictures we were thrilled! Matt is a senior at NLR! Go Wildcats! (Jaison and I both graduated from NLRHS as well.) We shot these at a private gun club that Matt is a part of in North Little Rock. The location was beautiful with the river in the background, right before sunset. We hope you enjoy this unique session! You will be seeing more of Matt when we shoot part II of his senior session at the high school. As well as next October when we blog Allie’s wedding! We can not wait to hang out with you and your sister more! The Brown siblings are such sweet amazing people! Love these two!

Kasey and I met many years ago when I was in middle school and she was just starting high school. It is amazing to see where she is today with her sweet family. I am so thankful when old friends look to us for their wedding photography needs! It is such an amazing feeling! Braylon, their son played big role in their engagement pictures too. I was so glad that they included him! If he wasn’t having his picture made, he was making us laugh and providing comic relief. These two will tie the knot at LOFT 1023 on New Year’s Eve! We cannot wait to shoot this wintery wedding!

Anna Lee Powell | Little Rock Bridals

Now that we have posted Anna and Colby’s wedding day photos we are happy to share her bridals! They tied the knot on September 20, 2014 at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock. She had a completely different look for her wedding day (which we also loved)! We were happy we were able to get two totally different feels of her in her beautifully unique dress! Anna + Colby Powell | Little Rock

When we booked Anna Lee + Colby’s wedding I was thrilled! I love booking Alpha Tau weddings because it is like hanging out with friends all day and I get to create lasting memories for them through their photographs (and in this case their video as well). Anna and Colby tied the knot at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock on September 20th! The venue, as always, was GORGEOUS! Miss Alda goes all out for every wedding at her venue and each time it is PERFECT! For their ceremony, Colby came in on a canoe and Anna on a horse-drawn carriage. We did their video as I mentioned earlier as well as their wedding day photography, bridals and engagements! We have sincerely enjoyed working with them over the last year. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness and lots of love! We had a blast sharing your big day with you! We hope everyone enjoys this southern wedding!

The Fowlers | Conway Family

The Fowlers are the cutest bunch ever! This session was extra special because Haley is a dear friend of mine and fellow Alpha Tau advisor. I was so excited when she asked me to take their family photos/Campbell’s one year photos. I think Crafton, Campbell’s big brother, enjoyed the session the most. He was a little ham the ENTIRE shoot! It was hilariously precious. Even the one’s of Campbell crying are adorable. Crafton has the key to Campbell’s heart and knew exactly how to put a smile back on her face when she was upset.You will see a couple of the action shots in this post where Crafton is making her laugh. They were the sweetest big brother/little sister pair I have ever seen! I have lots of love for this family!

Jenna & James Dean | Little Rock Wedding

Jenna and James are the coolest couple ever! Seriously, they are both nurses, which I love that they both share the same profession. As husband and wife photographers, Jaison and I can totally relate to having the same profession as our spouse. It is an amazing experience and a special thing to share! They also are going to appear on the television show ‘Tiny House Nation’ early next year. It was seriously the coolest thing I have ever seen, there was a TV crew filming that their wedding!! Since they’re going to be on that show, that means they just built a “Tiny House,” if you don’t know what that means google the show and check it out. It is super neat! This couple’s love is so real and not to mention they are both GORGEOUS! We loved shooting this wedding at The Villa Marre in Little Rock! Congrats Jenna & James Dean! We love y’all!

Ali Price | UCA Senior

Ali is a senior at UCA and and will be graduating in December! We were so thrilled to work with her! She was referred to us by a few of our sweet mutual friends and we are so glad they sent her our way. Ali was so easy to work with and up for anything during her shoot. She rolled with all our ideas! Cody + Ashliegh | Engagements

Wow!

That is all I have to say about this session is, WOW! We first photographed Ashliegh and Cody when Cody proposed in Conway and I was blown away with that session, then came this one. They were SO easy to work with and so comfortable & it shows! I also love when our clients become friends. Since this shoot we had a little double date and then Cody was our model for Jaison’s clown/Halloween shoot (it was not as pretty as these haha) but Cody did an awesome job! It always is so flattering when other photographers ask us to take their photos. Ashliegh is a photographer herself. We were blown away when she asked us to do their wedding photography! We hope you enjoy this engagement session as much as we do, Jaison and I are obsessed!

The Glovers | Arkansas Family

I met Carrie through her sister Amy, who is a good friend of mine. Amy’s little girl, Abi, was our flower girl in our wedding! This was the third time we got to photograph Will and each session I swear he gets cuter and cuter. This year, he has grown so much!! We loved that he was sporting his cowboy Halloween costume, he looked like a little man! Will’s favorite part of the session was when Jaison and his dad Jason threw leaves around him. Those made for some of the sweetest photos ever. Enjoy!

ps: AND I got to use our chevron chair prop which was exciting to have someone just the right size to fit in it!

Casey, Crystal & Emma | Family Session

Crystal, Casey and Emma are AMAZING! It was so hard to choose my favorites for their blog post because they looked so happy in all of them! Crystal was my “big sis” on dance team in high school (in our North Pulaski Falcon days). I am so thankful that dance team brought us together and I am lucky to call her my friend. I hadn’t seen her in a couple of years but it was like picking up right where we left off. Those are the best types of friendships! Meeting Emma was awesome too, isn’t she adorable?! I love the lighting during this session, it was right before sunset by the river.
